A beautiful silver shield emerged from a silver magic circle and blocked the incoming attack of the tree monster.

Lukas moved back again from the force of the attack, but this time, he was not just on the defensive.

“Mercury Magic; Mercury Spear!”

Another gigantic silver magic circle formed at his back, and three stunning silver spears emerged from the circle. They flew at a fast speed and impaled themselves again on the trunk of the tree monster, bypassing its flimsy defense.

CRACK!

Lukas smirked. He wasn’t done yet. The constant training he did on his mana control had begun to pay off. Now he was able to change the state of his element at will.

He changed the state of his spears embedded in the trunk of the monster from solid to liquid, making them penetrate the wounds they inflicted on it. As for why he did that, the reason was obvious.
