Morales already guessed it, but still, seeing the notification from the system left him in a mood of ecstasy.

As soon as the notification flashes ended, Morales trembled in excitement. He could feel his originally depleting vitality soaring up at a rapid pace, he felt like he was the world.
He started regaining feelings in his sour and numb muscles. He felt, good!
He raised his right hand and unclenched his fists at the air, prompting something like a revolving vortex to quickly appear at its top. His face lit up to form a dirty grin.
Due to the initial eruption of the space energy, all the opponents that ganged up on him were thrown away.
Now they all sat all the floor, clueless, gawking at him as his energy presence gradually soared under their very eyes. They rubbed their eyes repeatedly but the shocking dream just didn’t want to end.
“What just happened?” One of them questioned listlessly.
Nobody answered him though, his fellow gang attackers were as clueless and shocked as he was. The black-haired girl was also stunned in place, a hidden sparkle twinkled in her eyes.
Morales smiled. He raised his hands to support his head before slightly bending it. It made ominous cracking sounds as he turned it to the left, then the right.
“Let’s do this again; Round 2!” He muttered loudly while gripping his iron rod tighter.
Seeing no reaction from the 6 Pugilists, he didn’t mind, he rushed at them with no hesitation in his movements.
They finally scrambled hastily to retrieve their rods, but it was too late to react appropriately. They had all the time in the world but they couldn’t utilize it, no one was to blame.
Ponk!!
A sound of metal hitting hard flesh reverberated all of a sudden as the 5 other Pugilists were jolted in a shock, hastily beating a retreat.

The iron rod hit the Pugilist squarely on the back of his head, a completely vicious place to hit with such outrageous strength. Due to the current strength difference, the poor fellow had no chance at all.
The iron rod that he already picked up fell back from his hand. He staggered like a drunkard; his eyes rolled disorderly like a rotating pendulum bulb without someone to stop it.
Subsequent damage wreaked havoc in his broken skull.
Morales intended to hit again to end this fellow once and for all but the others rushed forward in a panic to reinforce him.
Seeing this, his eyes gleamed sharply. “It seems that these 6 guys really have a special relationship before now. No wonder they fought so cohesively, but I’ll still trash you guys”.
Morales hardly cared as he just rained down his overflowing power at the 5 opponents before him. These were the perfect test subjects to test his current strength, he loved these kinds of people the most.
Bam! Bam!
His iron rod kept swinging left and right, smacking here and there as the 5 Pugilists suffered the full brunt of this rod of destruction.
Just because of a bloodline awakening, the 5 Pugilists no longer had a chance against him. In just a minute, dozens of injuries were inflicted on them all without any resistance offered.
Though he didn’t use anyone of his new race skills due to his unfamiliarity with them, the increase in base attributes alone made him lord over them.
“Please bro, we did wrong. How about we target the other guys, those are easier targets? Like that, everybody will win”. The leader of the group, the level 25 Pugilist suggested.
Morales snorted nonchalantly. “You really take me as a fool, right?”
His rod smacked down at him in annoyance, the slippery bastard luckily slipped away and dodged. This did not mean anything though; they were still being trashed.
The black-haired girl and the other 2 Pugilists who were battling previously were reduced to spectators, they watched the ongoing battle with mouths wide open like cannon muzzles.
The level 25 Pugilist suddenly rushed at Morales while shouting like he was going to sacrifice himself. At the last moment, he ducked, rolled to the side, and ran away immediately.
“Run!” He yelled at his companions.
They didn’t even need his reminder. As soon as they saw him rush forward, they understood. They separated and ran in various directions immediately.
Morales was not letting this be. His hands suddenly extended to the side, propelling the sharp tip of his iron rod forward as it stabbed into one of the escaping Pugilist’s back without resistance.
He flicked his hand left and right as the enormous applied force made the iron rod tore open his opponent’s abdomen, exposing his gastric juices and organs.
Before the Pugilist could fall dead, he retrieved the iron rod and casually hit it to the side. Coincidentally, it fell down on the other Pugilist’s head. His barely working head was directly squashed to a bloody pulp.

You have killed a participant of the recruitment tournament, gaining 4200 experience.
----------------------------------------------
This was his revenge. Only 10 people were needed, but who cared. He killed 2 of these bastards to teach the others a lesson, now only 9 survived.
It was at this moment that a voice suddenly echoed out from above.
“The group C battle has ended; all participants should stop fighting immediately or you will face the consequences”.
No one reacted though, Morales already stopped fighting. The black-haired girl and the other 2 Pugilists were still gawking at him in disbelief, while the others were still running away horrified.
“Stop whatever you’re doing and wait at your current locations, your various team buses will come shortly to pick you up”. The voice finally died back down.
…
In the periphery zone of the district where group C engaged in the recruitment battle, a figure covered in sweat ran with all his might as his eyes remained trained on the black line at the front.
At various intervals, he would look back with fear evident in his eyes. He sometimes even falls down as he ran due to fear, but he would still pick himself back up and continue forward.
This sweaty figure was the incompetent teammate that Morales advised to leave to protect his life and not die meaninglessly.
As he ran, the thought of what transpired a few minutes ago could not leave his mind at all. He knew that Morales was right, but he still felt resentment at being looked down on.
Nobody liked being dismissed. He secretly vowed that he would show these people what he had when he finally became powerful enough.
How he would become powerful, he didn’t know.
Though these were his ambitions, thinking of the scene where the sharp iron rod brushed past his face by only a few meters difference protecting him from death, he tripped again.
He quickly forgot his lofty ambitions and continued running for dear life. “F*ck being a Pugilist, I’m satisfied with being a chef”.
On getting to the black line, he heaved a sigh of relief. As his legs were about to cross it, the announcement was given. He quickly drifted to a stop; his legs hanging in the air in disbelief.
“Did I just…, pass the tournament?”
…
Back in the Pugilist dojo, the atmosphere was completely riled up as the spectators discussed the tournament battles excitedly.
Of the 3 groups that fought for admission, the first 2 groups already ended theirs about 2 minutes ago, group C lasted the longest. And to them, it was also the most exciting.
“Did that black-haired boy breakthrough? Oh my God, he is so cool…!” A spectator exclaimed excitedly.
“I told you they are couples, see. The way the black-haired boy protected the girl, that is the perfect moment ever”. Another female spectator jumped excitedly.
“Umm…, you said they looked like couples, not that they are couples if I remember correctly”. A boy at her side doused her excitement.
“Go away, you have ear problems”. She quickly retorted and continued jumping.
Scenes like these were all over the dojo as people discussed the just concluded tournament excitedly. This was probably one of the most intense and exciting battles of the tournament since the Border town dojo was established.
What a day! They were all satisfied, their ticket money was not spent in vain.
Thanks for reading guys, you're the best, don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

As soon as night struck, both Dave and Chloe went to the space at the corner of the room that was designated to them for practicing their techniques and skills. As Pugilists, almost all their training was associated with the control and use of the body. It seemed just like those weird cultivation depicted in novels to Morales but was much more systematic. Seeing them go to train, Morales also joined them to act the part. He already confirmed that he could level up through his system’s interface, so there was no need for training normally like others. Unlike them, the main reason why he went there was just to relax in a comfortable position and check his interface for his current attributes. He was so hyped up to gauge his current power base after awakening his bloodline. ---------------------------------------------------------- Name: Morales Clifford Race: Human/Spac

“You…, you! I can’t believe it’s you!” Morales exclaimed exaggeratedly, losing his cool for a moment. “Wait! You’re here too?” The girl standing at the door asked in a surprised tone, she seemed even more shocked than Morales. Dave and Chloe were left gawking, speechlessly looking at the 2 people that stood before them. It took some time before they finally recovered as Chloe asked, her voice reverting to its normal cheerful tone. “You guys knew each other before?” She pumped her fists on the air excitedly. “That’s great, it would bring more cohesiveness among us”. “Do you know that there’s an award given yearly for the best roommates? I think we have a good chance of winning it this time…” As Chloe was about to continue blabbering on, Dave quickly covered her mouth with his hands while directing an embarrassed smile at their newest roommate. “Hi, I’m Dave”. He waved cheekily at her even though she just stood a few inches away from him

2 days later, Morales woke up early in the morning again as he got set to go for his daily training. After these few days together, he already integrated completely with his other roommates. And they already grasped each other’s personalities completely. Fortunately, they were all compatible. With the cheerful Chloe around, they could not fall out with each other even if they wanted. Just the next day after their tour around the dojo, Chloe noticed that he and Rose were keeping a certain distance from each other. She was puzzled at first but she quickly deduced that it was probably an old grudge. When she probed and they didn’t react as she liked, she pestered them for the whole day till they revealed everything to her. Morales was like. “She bullies boys that are weaker than her only to cower before those stronger than her. I hate people with such personalities, they are evil seeds”. “He’s crossed into the 4th level already! Which monster exactly is scaling the dojo dungeon?” A student dressed in red tight-fitting combat clothes exclaimed exaggeratedly. “And I heard that he’s among the newbies that were admitted just a few days ago. What a monster!”. Another one quickly chimed in excitedly. When a student is scaling the dungeon levels, there is an indicator outside that shows the number of levels that he/she has crossed and the current level he/she was in. This was Morales’s 4th hour inside the dungeon, and he was now in the 4th level. He spent only about an hour for the first 2 levels, but he spent about 3 hours just to clear the 3rd level. Despite this, his speed was still record-breaking and already attracted the attention of the whole dojo. Hundreds of students stood outside the entrance of the dojo, attentively watching the orange light that represented the 4th level. This crowd started from a student that als

One of the more mature students finally broke the silence with a curse. This seemed to be the fuse switch as the other students immediately started discussing excitedly. “I can’t believe that he did it. I really want to see this genius kid; does he have a face like us?” One of the students asked excitedly. “No, he has your anus as his face”. An unpleasant glaring sound of metal cutting through flesh reverberated, followed by a painful whimper, which formed a stark contrast to the originally chaotic noise from the battle. The Black panther dodged after detecting the danger, but Morales’s sword still cut a deep injury across its back. As one of the 3 Grade C- experts of this Suicide Squad, he had 1/3rd overall authority over any decision-making of the squad. As soon as they went deep inside the pyramid enough, and the number of zombies and other undead creatures swarming towards them started becoming too much, Morales gave a suggestion. “Let’s separate!” Morales could boast of being the warrior with the most knowledge about this Pyramid. None of the warriors that were recruited into the vanguard team cheered though, this was because they knew that this was just the calm before the storm. This act that they just started was an act of war! Inside the necromancy domain was like a dark endless void filled with chaotic space that kept on ravaging through anything that they could devour. It was now night, but the effects of the night here were amplified several folds. The extreme darkness, gloominess, and absolute silence gave this region the spookiest attribute that it could afford. This strange vacant void seemed spooky, but not to the warriors that came for this mission who were all battle-hardened veterans. None of them were flustered, they kn

The hunting alliance already put everything in order before convening this gathering. From the most important warrior to the least important, even the mysterious Elder Lorrain of the Clifford family were all present. Like before, Pirate Admiral Frenzy was the one who stood up to speak. He was seated alongside his fellow counterparts at the very front of the hall. Morales eyed these seats. With his current status as a Grade C- expert, if he revealed his real strength, he could easily become one of the higher-ups of this alliance. Despite the fame and prestige that may follow, Morales was okay with being prudent. He already had his own plans in place for this mission. To others, it was just about killing the necromancers and getting rid of a disast

Being contacted so suddenly by the well-known Frenzy Psychic, Morales experienced a rapid rush of emotions. It did not take him long before he connected this call to the achievements of his fleet in the just-concluded campaign.
