Chapter 3

The glitter of the luxurious building before Emilia made the woman not stop smiling. Her eyes went in all directions and saw only luxury and splendor there. 

"I never thought I would finally dine in this luxurious hotel with you. Darren, I am so happy." Emilia's face was filled with a smile. Actually, Emilia had long dreamed of being able to dine at the Lux Hotel. Unfortunately, Emilia could not expect anything from that man when she was still together with Joshua. 

Darren smiled hearing Emilia's words, while right now, he saw Emilia enjoying the luxurious hotel's atmosphere. Emilia's eyes stared in all directions without releasing her hand from Darren. "When I was with Joshua, I never had anything like this. That man was only filled with life's hardships, so he never took me to luxurious places like this. Even I still deeply regret why I stayed with a poor man like him. We should have been close a long time ago."

Emilia insulted Joshua before Darren, making the man puff out his chest and haughty. Darren let go of Emilia's handhold, and he wrapped his arms around Emilia's slender waist in a blue dress, making Emilia look very elegant. "Of course, we can have dinner at this luxurious hotel because my father works and is the Manager of Lux hotel. So of course we can come at this hotel and will get special treatment." 

"Darren, that sounds absolutely marvelous." Emilia praised Darren, making him even more arrogant. 

Once they were inside the hotel, a male servant came to greet them. "Welcome, Mr. Darren." The waiter bowed slightly as he greeted Darren. "We have prepared a special dinner for you two."

Emilia did not expect such a special welcome that they had also prepared a place for them. The woman became so haughty that she walked with great excitement. She also felt impatient to enjoy the dinner she had always wanted. 

The servant began to escort them to the place that had been prepared. It was a different place reserved only for prosperous and honored guests. 

They were now in a particular place. The room was also quieter, as only certain people could usually enter it. When Darren and Emilia had just sat down, two other servants came to bring them food. But suddenly, someone else appeared and entered the room, which surprised Emilia. 

"Isn't this a special place for honorable people? Then how can a poor man enter this room?" Emilia spoke to Darren when she saw Joshua, who entered there. This made Emilia feel very upset. 

Emilia immediately stood up and moved towards Joshua, who had just sat down. "How can a poor man like you eat in this place? Did you come here on purpose just to follow me?" Emilia folded her hands before Joshua and said, "So now you're a stalker who will always follow me wherever I go? That's very embarrassing." Emilia accused him.

"Are you intentionally following me because you think that I will accept you back? Don't dream because that will never happen. I have a much better lover now and am not a loser like you." At this moment, Emilia raised her hand to point at Joshua's face. "You should have some self-respect and never dream that I'll go back with a poor man like you." Emilia became so annoyed that she gave Joshua an affirmation. 

Meanwhile, Joshua just grinned slightly. "You think I'd want to get back together with a woman like you? After all, this finished frivolous meal is straightforward for me." Joshua replied very casually, which only annoyed Emilia and Darren even more. 

They knew very well that Joshua was a poor man with nothing, but he spoke arrogantly. Darren glanced at the waiter until the man came over. "Kick this man out of this place. He's just a poor man, and coming here will only make this hotel dirty. He's just a shameful man." Darren gave the order to the waiter. Meanwhile, Joshua, who heard it, was sitting very calmly. He was not affected, even though Darren ordered the waiter to throw him out. 

The waiter there also became annoyed because a poor man couldn't come quickly to that place. 

Emilia was still watching Joshua, and then she thought of something. "I know that he doesn't have anything, and of course, he won't be able to eat in this place. And I'm pretty sure that he only came here to steal other people's things. I'm pretty sure he's going to cause a riot." Emilia started to accuse Joshua, which upset the waiter even more. 

The waitress was so convinced that Joshua's arrival had terrible intentions that, without hesitation, she moved quickly to send him away. The waiter gave Joshua a sharp look, and he spoke, "Go away, you shouldn't be in this place. You should know that this place is only reserved for honorable people." The waiter spoke very sternly. 

Joshua exhaled. He glanced at the three people before him and said, "Of course, that won't happen because I can afford to eat in this place." Joshua sat quietly, and that made Emilia unhappy. 

"Don't talk so much, you'd better leave this place immediately or I'll call the security guards to drag you away from here." The waiter began to emphasize Joshua, but Joshua still looked very calm. 

"Are you deaf? You better get out of here because this is not your place!" Darren shouted again to remove him, but Joshua didn't move. Instead, Joshua leaned back in his chair and crossed his legs. 

Emilia was increasingly annoyed by Joshua's actions that ignored their anger. Emilia had dreamed of a romantic dinner with Darren, but Joshua's arrival had ruined it. 

"Maybe you don't know that Darren's father is the Manager here. And he could certainly come to kick you out right now." Emilia deliberately said that to Joshua to make her former lover jealous. Then Emilia's gaze shifted to look at Darren, and she spoke, "Darren, you should call your father and ask him to kick this loser out." Emilia spoke 

Hearing that made Joshua smile slightly. "Can a manager do something like that and act like that?" Joshua raised one eyebrow, crossed his legs, and leaned back in the chair.

"Of course it's straightforward for the Manager to do that. You're just a poor guy who wouldn't know anything about that. Even if I explain it to you, you'll never be able to understand." Emilia spoke quite loudly, making Joshua stare at her flatly without any change of expression. 

Darren became annoyed with Emilia's words. "Shut up, you don't know anything here. It should be you two who should leave for getting angry in this place." Darren unintentionally snapped at Emilia because he felt dizzy with Joshua's actions, who did not leave his presence. And actually, Darren had contacted his father, and he knew that his father would come soon. 

In a boiling situation, a man came with hurried steps and immediately bowed in front of Joshua. 

 "Sir, I'm sorry because I just arrived." That person was none other than Jeff, who was none other than Darren's father.

During the argument, a well-dressed man suddenly arrived. The man stepped in hastily because he heard the voice of his son, who sounded like he was arguing with someone. 

"What's going on? Even your voice is so loud that it can be heard outside this room." Jeff reprimanded him and gave Darren a sharp look. "Did someone make trouble with you?" Jeff asked and made Darren nod. 

"Dad, this man has been rioting in this place. He shouldn't be here because he's just a poor man who certainly won't be able to eat in Lux's hotel." Darren pointed at Joshua, and he again said, "I asked the waiter to send him away, but this loser didn't leave immediately." Darren gave his explanation. 

Jeff immediately directed his gaze to the man sitting in front of him, but his eyes widened when he saw that Joshua was none other than the owner of Hotel Lux. 

Realizing that Jeff immediately bowed before Joshua and said, "Sir, please forgive us. I think this is a misunderstanding."

Jeff came to this place because he wanted to see his son, but he didn't expect to see his son, who was arguing with the owner of Hotel Lux. And this really scared Jeff. 

There, Darren and Emilia were so surprised that they couldn't understand why their father acted like that in front of Joshua. His father should have expelled Joshua from this place, but instead, they saw Jeff bowing before Joshua. 

It was actually unknown to them that Joshua owned the Lux Hotel. It was just that no one knew about it other than Jeff and some of the higher-ups of the hotel. Darren and Emilia had done something stupid by misbehaving with the man who owned Hotel Lux. 

Darren, who did not accept it, immediately warned his father. "Father, what are you doing? Why are you apologizing to that poor guy? He's just a loser and just made a scene in this place. You should have even asked the waiter to send him away." Darren was sure that his father had made a mistake. Darren knew that his father was nearsighted, so of course, his father had made the mistake of bowing down to a man who shouldn't have. 

Jeff lifted his face and gave Darren a glare. "Shut up stupid, you don't know anything, so you might as well shut up!"

Jeff's gaze became very sharp at his son. And in his heart, he felt apprehensive about his status and position in Lux Hotel, which might be at stake right now. And all because of his son's stupidity. 

"You should know that he is an important person here because Mr. Joshua owns Lux Hotel." Jeff told him in a low voice but sounded very firm. Jeff dared not raise his voice in front of Joshua even though the man looked much younger than him. 

Emilia shook her head. She couldn't believe this easily. "This is highly unlikely," she said with eyes filled with confusion. 

"You've done a very poor job." Joshua spoke with emphasis. And that made Jeff feel even more scared.

"Sir, I'm sorry, it's just a misunderstanding." Jeff lowered his head even more and didn't dare to look Joshua in the face. 

"Your son has done something stupid." Joshua told him in a firm voice. The expression on his face was still flat, but it scared Jeff even more.

"Sir, I will punish my foolish son," Jeff spoke with a sharp glance at Darren. But he lowered his gaze again, and Jeff desperately hoped he would get a second chance. 

"Get the hell out of here because you're fired." Joshua refused to apologize.

Currently, playing with his cell phone. Apparently, Joshua had secretly called security. Before long, several security guards arrived. 

"Quickly drag them from here. I don't want to see them in this place." Joshua immediately gave the order with firmness. 

The security guards nodded their heads. They immediately dragged the three people out of the restaurant.
