The Consortium's Heir In Disguise

Chapter 4

"Sir, please listen to our explanation. Please forgive us, Sir." Jeff shouted loudly, hoping that Joshua would listen to him. But unfortunately, Joshua ignored his shout.

Meanwhile, Joshua was crossing his legs and sitting very relaxed without caring about the three people yelling and rebelling against the guards dragging him out of the room. 

"Let me go, don't treat us like this." Darren shouted loudly. He tried to rebel against the two guards who were holding his hands. Even now, the guards dragged him so forcefully that Darren could not escape the two men's grip. 

"You must leave immediately and never show your faces here again." One of the guards gripping Darren's hand shouted, giving affirmation, until after they were in front of the main door, they pushed Darren so hard that Darren's body fell on the floor, along with Emilia and Jeff, who also received the same treatment.

Jeff immediately got up. He wanted to go back into the restaurant to ask Joshua for forgiveness. Unfortunately, the main door was immediately closed by the guard. 

Jeff became very angry. The veins on his forehead were raised, and his jaw was even harder. By this time, both hands were clenched into fists until he turned his body to stare at Darren, who had just gotten up. Jeff knew all this was due to his son's stupidity, so he gave a very sharp look and immediately approached Darren.  

"What have you done, idiot? You're supposed to use your brain when you do things!" Jeff shouted loudly and hit his son's head mercilessly. Jeff didn't even care about the several pairs of eyes that looked at him in confusion. 

"Because of your stupidity, everything has been ruined. You've ruined my career. You useless son of a bitch. I will never forgive you." Jeff punched Darren hard in the face again and then walked away. 

After his father left, Darren hit himself on the head. "What an idiot. How did this happen? How could that damn guy suddenly change? Has he been pretending to be poor all this time?" Darren wondered to himself. He was so upset to be humiliated like that by Joshua that he was even offended by his own father. "No, I'm not. I think something is not right this time." 

Meanwhile, Emilia was biting her own fingers. Actually, at this moment, she was thinking about Joshua again. Even Emilia was filled with regret for breaking up with Joshua just like that. And right now, Emilia was thinking about how she could get back with Joshua. 

Emilia glanced at Darren, who was still muttering to himself. She became very disgusted with Darren, who currently had nothing left. "I guess there's no need to keep Darren. He's already living in poverty." Emilia muttered in exasperation. Then, afterward, she thought about leaving Darren. 

Emilia had just taken two steps, but her hand was caught by Darren. "Hey, where are you going?" Darren held her hand and forced Emilia to stop her actions. She twisted her body and shook off her hand that was in Darren's grasp. 

At this moment, Emilia was eager to meet Joshua and seduce him to get back together. Even Emilia had thought a lot about what she would get when she was with Joshua, who turned out to be rich. "I should be able to get many things from Joshua after we return," she muttered. Then afterward, she looked back at Darren's face with disgust and said, "let me go and don't stop me." Emilia immediately turned her body around to leave Darren, but Darren again held her hand. 

"Emilia, wait. I don't think any of this is right. This is a mistake and you can't just leave me." Darren pulled Emilia's body until they were close again. 

Emilia must have been furious. She let go of Darren's grip by flicking her hand back. And right now, she looked very uncomfortable when Darren kept trying to touch her. 

 "You're right, this was a mistake. And I regret breaking up with Joshua. I should still be with him." Emilia spoke in a loud voice. Her gaze became cynical, and she looked at Darren hatefully. "I should never have listened to your advances to leave Joshua." Emilia deeply regretted her relationship with Darren. She wanted to leave Darren's presence, but Darren still held her back. Even he was blocking her steps at the moment. 

"What did you say? What do you mean?" Darren was amazed by what Emilia had just said. He became furious and thought Emilia wanted the luxury goods she could possibly get from Joshua. Then, she asked, "Are you thinking of returning with that loser?" Darren tightened his grip on Emilia's hand. 

Emilia pulled her hand from Darren's grip. She was getting more and more upset as Darren treated her harshly.

"Look, Darren, I never loved you," Emilia said. It was full of affirmation. "And I want to break up with you. So you should just get out of my sight." 

Of course, Emilia wanted a separation from Darren because now she knew that Joshua was much more prosperous than Darren. So, she was eager to get back together with Joshua. Emilia had also imagined many things about what she would get after getting back together with Joshua, who turned out to be the owner of the luxurious Lux Hotel. 

Darren was distraught with what Emilia had just said. Darren remembers that before this, Emilia was very attached to him while denigrating Joshua. But this time, Emilia just threw it away. Darren raised his hand and pointed at Emilia's face. "You will regret this decision."

Emilia did not care at all about Darren's words. Emilia let Darren go from her presence because she thought her life would be better if she got back together with Joshua. Even now, Emilia began to think of ways to get back with Joshua. But she was very confident that Joshua would accept her easily because before this, they had a special relationship, and Emilia knew that Joshua was a foolish man who would undoubtedly be easy to seduce again.

"I'm very sure that Joshua still loves me very much. So I'm sure after this we'll get back together." Emilia muttered with great conviction.
