Chapter 5

Emilia looked at the door that was still closed. She tidied up her hair and clothes and then quickly walked inside confidently. But suddenly, her steps were again blocked by the two guards still there. 

"Hey, what are you doing? Didn't I say that you can't come back to this place? Leave before I drag you back and throw you out on the streets." The man who had a large body gave Emilia an affirmation. 

Emilia was forced to step back as she did not want to be humiliated twice by the guard. "Let's see, I'll fire you guys when I get back together with Joshua," she muttered as she chose to wait for Joshua outside the building. 

After waiting, Emilia finally saw Joshua come out from inside. The man stepped out with a cold face, and immediately, Emilia rushed over to him. 

"Joshua, I've been waiting for you since earlier. I actually came to apologize to you. And I actually still love you very much, Joshua." Emilia held Joshua's hand, but he immediately withdrew his hand from Emilia's grip. Joshua gave her a flat look, but Emilia still tried to be sweet. "I just broke up with Darren. I don't love him at all, and I realized that I only love you. Can we get back?"

Emilia said it was very spoiled. Right now, she was very confident of getting back together with Joshua, but she did not realize that the man in front of her did not care about the seduction. She just wanted everything to happen. 

Meanwhile, Joshua, who heard all that, became a thin grin. Then afterward, Joshua looked at Emilia's face with a cold gaze. "Everything you say is a lie, and it's useless." The man averted his eyes without changing his stern facial expression, and then he spoke again, "I don't want to go back with a cheap woman like you." Joshua emphasized that to Emilia.

Joshua then quickly left Emilia's presence and he walked to his car. Emilia didn't want to lose the opportunity, she followed. "Joshua, wait!" Emilia shouted, but Joshua ignored her. Suddenly, the woman wanted to touch Joshua's hand again to stop Joshua's steps, but Joshua quickly pushed her away. Joshua immediately got into the Roll Royce car parked in front of the restaurant.

Joshua deliberately made the car window, looking at the woman who was shocked to see this. "I remember that you admired this car very much." Joshua reminded Emilia of that, and she nodded her head quickly. 

Emilia had always dreamed of climbing into a Rolls-Royce car to drive around the city. But back then, she thought that Joshua would never fulfill her wish because she knew that Joshua was a poor man. But she didn't expect Joshua to be wealthy, and now she saw him riding in a Roll Royce. 

"Yes, I really admire that car and I really want to ride with you. You're a wonderful man. You're now going to take me for a ride in it!" Emilia's face was filled with hope. 

"Never." Joshua spoke coldly, closed the glass window, and then the driver drove off, leaving Emilia still there. 

Joshua did not look back at all. His gaze was still icy, and Peter noticed his master's attitude until he asked, "Master, is everything alright?"

"I'm very well." Joshua replied without looking at Peter and chose to keep his eyes straight ahead. 

The following day, Joshua opened his eyes and realized he had woken up in a luxurious room. A room that had been abandoned long ago in favor of a simple tenement. Joshua exhaled before he finally got up from there. 

"Master, you just woke up? I have prepared this for you." Peter, who was there, immediately gave his master a cup of hot coffee.

They were currently at one of Bradley's houses in the city center. Several times, Joshua had come to this place for a short while, but he chose to return to live in the modest house he had rented with the money he earned from his work. 

"Master, I have also prepared warm water for you. Clothes and breakfast have also been prepared." Peter said it very politely. Meanwhile, Joshua just nodded while sipping the coffee in his glass.

After refreshing his body, Joshua immediately got ready with his neat clothes, and afterward, Joshua went down the stairs and went downstairs for breakfast. 

"Good morning, master." One of the waiters greeted Joshua. 

Everyone immediately bowed to the greeting, and Joshua just looked at them with a flat look. 

Joshua immediately sat down and enjoyed the food that was served. He ate quietly, then looked out the large glass window directly showing outside. They were actually in an elite residential area-Emerald Garden, which had a price tag of hundreds of millions of dollars per unit.  

After shoveling the food into his mouth, Joshua let out a rough breath. Then, he quickly took a sip of his drink.

Peter saw his master's expression. He quickly approached and said, "Is this food bad, master? Should I ask the chef to prepare something else?" Peter became anxious at the cold expression on his master's face. 

Joshua shook his head. He put his fork and knife down and pushed his plate into the center of the table, then he said, "I just need some fresh air." Joshua replied with a flat expression on his face. 

 

Peter understood what his master meant. At this point, Peter immediately took his master to the garage. There, Joshua immediately chose one of the cars he liked, until finally, his choice fell on a white two-seater sports car. And Joshua would use the car just to drive around and release his fatigue. 

Joshua put on his sunglasses and drove around the Emerald Garden residential area. After a few minutes, Joshua finally chose to stop at a park in the residential area. Joshua immediately got off and walked around the park until, eventually, he ended his steps to sit on a bench under a shady tree. There, Joshua chose to play on his cell phone. 

The atmosphere was so calm that Joshua enjoyed it very much. He played on his cell phone and read some news that happened that day. But while he was busy with his cell phone, suddenly someone came and immediately approached Joshua. "Hey, what are you doing here!?" The person greeted him with a sardonic look in his eyes. Then he spoke again, "Are you a poor person who only comes to this free place to feel rich?"
