Chapter 7

His cold face was still clearly visible when Joshua left the park. He should have been able to find peace in the garden. Unfortunately, he had to deal with that crazy woman. Fortunately, some of the guards who came were actually subordinates of Peter, so he knew very well who the real Joshua was.

Joshua didn't want to go home early. He still wanted to enjoy his day outside the house until this time, he wanted to go somewhere else that he used to frequent.

Joshua drove his car at a high speed. He put his sunglasses back on as his eyes felt the glare. Finally, Joshua stopped the car when he was in front of a series of buildings that were often used by some people to gather.

"It's been a while since I've been here," Joshua muttered as he took off his sunglasses. Then afterward, he got out of his sports car.

Actually, this place was more than just an ordinary hangout. Some people from wealthy families and social media celebrities often come here to take pictures and videos. Some of them would even treat themselves like extraordinary figures.

Joshua took in the surroundings. Several other cars were already lined up there. However, some people were also still around the parking lot and currently seemed to be watching Joshua, but Joshua ignored them. Of course, he would be the center of attention because he came in his luxurious white sports car. There were also some women looking at Joshua without blinking. They began to imagine being Joshua's lover and going around in that luxury car.

A woman wearing a red dress immediately got up from her seat. Her face lit up as she looked at Joshua, who looked amazing. "Is he an artist? But I've never seen him. But I guess he comes from a rich family. He looks very attractive in that sports car." The woman began to imagine that she could get Joshua, and without hesitation, she even waved to Joshua.

Joshua ignored her. He stepped away from the place and walked into a small alley that was actually his original destination. Inside, there was a secluded place that not many people knew about.

After walking for a while, he finally saw a small building at the end of the place. Joshua stopped his steps, then he walked back towards the far end of the building. This was not the first time Joshua had come to that place. He had visited it several times when he was in college.

Joshua's arrival was immediately greeted with a warm smile from the old couple who ran the place. "Joshua, you haven't come to this place for a very long time. Why do you rarely come back? Did something happen to you?" The old man named James frowned. He watched Joshua closely and tried to figure out what was going on.

Actually, they remembered that Joshua was a student who often came to that place. They knew that Joshua was an ordinary student who was always serious and smart. The couple also knew that Joshua had gotten a scholarship, so he could hardly enjoy his time to relax like other students. The place was not too far from Joshua's campus.

James left the counter he walked around until they were facing each other. "Tell me, is there something going on with you that you don't come very often?" James looked at her with a sad look. So did Amy, who also looked worried about Joshua.

Amy also approached. The old woman also looked at Joshua with a worried look on her face, and then she said, "If there is something wrong with you, you should come here and tell us."

The two people seemed to love Joshua very much. In fact, they treated Joshua like their son. Because Joshua has a polite attitude and is very different from young people today. Several times, Joshua had even helped them carry their groceries, and sometimes, Joshua also helped the couple clean the cafe.

Joshua smiled slightly. Then Joshua spoke, "I've been very busy lately, and I have a lot of classwork. That's why I don't come very often." Joshua's words made both of them feel relieved.

James smiled, too, he breathed a sigh of relief now. "Say, would you like to order some food?" James looked at Joshua with a furrowed brow as he waited for Joshua's answer.

Joshua nodded his head. "I'll order food as usual." After saying that, Joshua walked away from them and sat in his usual spot. It was at the far end and close to the window that showed the view outside.

Not long after, James and Amy approached him. Not only did they bring Joshua's order as usual, but they brought another meal and placed it on Joshua's table. Seeing that, of course, Joshua frowned.

Joshua looked at a meatloaf topped with cheese and some sauce. He looked surprised and then looked back at James. "Uncle, I didn't order this," Joshua said, but they smiled.

James sat down opposite him while Amy was still standing next to her husband. Then James spoke, "You didn't order it. You don't have to worry. Because this is a gift for you. Actually, this is our new product, but we don't know when we will start marketing it. Don't worry, it's free because it's a gift." James gave Joshua an affirmation and explanation. He didn't want Joshua to feel worried about the payment later.

Joshua smiled warmly at James and Amy. Then he said, "Thank you." Joshua looked back at the meatloaf.

"Well, I'll be back and enjoy your meal. If you need anything, you can tell me." Amy looked pleased when she saw the smile on Joshua's face. Especially when he seemed happy with the gift they gave him. Afterward, they left Joshua as they saw some people coming.

Joshua looked down at his food again, and then he began to enjoy the meatloaf that the old couple had given him. At the same time, a few people arrived and seemed very excited. Actually, one of them was a woman who was none other than a social media artist who came with some of her crew.

"Hello, guys. Do you know where I am?" Sounded the voice of a woman who had taken a video. Meanwhile, Joshua seemed to ignore the people and chose to continue enjoying his food.

After taking the video, some of the people chose to sit close to Joshua's place. The social media artist was seen fanning his hands and occasionally shaking his long hair that was left loose. He looked very haughty and sat with his legs folded. "It turned out to be very small and very hot here. But I have to keep shooting videos to get more viewers. This is so annoying." The woman seemed to mumble and continued fanning herself with her hands.

"I thought this was a nice place, but it's not. It's very hot here and very uncomfortable. But I have to pretend to smile to make them believe me. Oh, how annoying." The woman continued to complain and play with her cell phone.

The woman's gaze traveled around the entire cafe, and then she showed a disgusted expression on her face. "This is really a bad place, but I don't know why people are so happy to come to this place. I guess it's just a place for hooligans." Without hesitation, the female artist named Jessica insulted this place.

Joshua, who heard the artist's words, certainly felt very uncomfortable. She even spoke with a loud intonation of voice and seemed to insult this place very brightly. Joshua stopped eating, and then he glanced at the artist and her friends with a cold stare. Noting one by one the people there, Joshua's gaze became sharper. They looked very disrespectful.

One of the men who was the cameraman was busy looking at the video he had taken. Then he said, "Look, this video is not very good because the lighting here is very poor." The cameraman's words made the artist also look at the video. He agreed with what the cameraman said.

"I think you're right. This video is very bad, and we have to redo it again. But we have to find a bright place." The female artist currently looked around to find the right place and angle.

The other two people also did the same, until this time, the cameraman saw Joshua's seat, who was currently sitting next to the window, and it seemed that the lighting there was better then after that the cameraman stood up and approached Joshua. "Move aside. We'd like to use this space." The man spoke with a rough intonation of voice.
