Chapter 8

Joshua gave a piercing stare to those who asked him to step aside. Joshua was a rich man whose gaze was already formed cold as ice. Even the people who came with Jessica seemed hesitant to come into conflict with Joshua, but they still wanted him to leave. 

"Didn't you hear me? We want to use this place." The man named Jeff spoke up again. This time, however, his voice sounded harsher than before. He stood right next to Joshua and expected Joshua's immediate departure. 

While Joshua averted his eyes from Jeff, he returned to his meatloaf and ate it very casually. Joshua didn't care about Jeff's shouts of wanting him to leave. 

Jeff stared at Jessica until the long-haired woman immediately came over. Reluctantly, he had to intervene to evict Joshua from this place. Jessica stood up with her arms folded and then spoke, "You shouldn't have wasted my time for so long. Don't you know that I'm very busy? I want to take pictures and videos here immediately. So move aside!" Jessica shooed him away, but the same thing she got and saw Joshua, who was still casually enjoying his food. That really made the three people there very upset. 

"Jessica, I don't think he knows who you are. That's why he pretends to be deaf and doesn't want to leave here." Another man named Arsan also spoke. 

Jessica looked at Arsan. Actually, she felt annoyed by Arsan's words. "Is there really someone who doesn't know me? He should know that I'm a social media artist and, of course, an important person everyone should know. Doesn't he know that I even have two hundred thousand fans?" Jessica spoke very arrogantly. Even now, she shook back her hair and seemed to sneer at Joshua. "He should also know that whatever I do will always attract everyone's attention." Indirectly, Jessica was priding herself very haughtily. Of course, she wanted Joshua to leave the chair immediately. 

Jessica looked at the hands of the clock in her hand. She looked annoyed when Joshua didn't leave after hearing all her explanations. And Jessica wanted Joshua to understand what she wanted. But she was even more upset when she saw Joshua enjoying his food. Even Joshua seemed not to care about everything said by Jessica. And Joshua also no longer turned to them at all. Joshua just thinks that they are unimportant people. 

Meanwhile, James and Amy, who had been watching them, were worried when the people who had just arrived seemed angry with Joshua, so the couple immediately approached them. 

"Sir, miss, please have a seat. Do you need anything?" James spoke very politely. And invited them to sit on a chair not far from Joshua. James and Amy hoped that the three people would hear them out without making a scene again. "You'd better not get into an argument here because some of the other customers seem to be annoyed." James explained very carefully. But that made Jessica and her two friends very angry. 

Jessica and her two friends looked sharply at James and Amy for interfering. They even dared to give her a reprimand. When facing James, Jessica folded her hands again, and then she spoke, "Do you also not know who I am? Look at my face carefully. I'm an influencer who has two hundred thousand fans. And you should be doing me a great favour." Jessica reiterated that to the couple.

She patted his chest slightly, then said, "You should feel lucky that you have an influencer like me eating at this place. Even I can do anything for this restaurant and make you guys filthy rich." Jessica prided herself very proudly.  

Jessica is currently staring at the old couple in front of her. Jessica also sneered and said, "But unfortunately, you have the nerve to treat me rudely. And I could have bankrupted this restaurant very easily. I would have given a bad review and said that the owner is not pleasant. No one will eat and visit this cafe in such a short time." Jessica gave a threatening sentence to the old couple. Of course, they became apprehensive. But Jessica saw the fear on the old couple's faces and became very happy.

The threat they had just gotten from Jessica made Amy and James feel very scared. Although they were an old couple, they knew enough that bad online reviews would undoubtedly affect their restaurant. At this moment, James immediately put his hands together and spoke, "Miss, please forgive us." James said that with a pleading voice and gaze, hoping Jessica wouldn't do that. 

Amy also put her hands together. "Miss, please forgive our bad behavior. We shouldn't have done that. Sit down, we'll give you a free meal." Amy spoke fearfully. She also hoped Jessica would accept her offer and cancel her intention to bankrupt their restaurant. 

Joshua, who heard Amy's words, stopped his activity momentarily; he looked at Amy's face and said, "you don't need to do something like that." Then, this time, Joshua's gaze fell on the three people before him as he finished cutting the meat on his plate. "They are the ones who have made a mistake." After that, he looked away again and ate the heart he had just cut. 

Jessica was getting annoyed with Joshua's actions. The man should not have interfered in their problems. But boldly, Joshua asked the old couple not to give him anything. "Shut up, you don't even understand anything so you should shut your mouth and not say anything. We're very used to this and we know what we're going to do. So don't piss us off again or we will completely destroy this place." Again, Jessica made a threat. 

Her two hundred thousand followers would believe anything she said, so Jessica was confident that she could bankrupt the cafe with just a few sentences on her social media home page. 

Jessica returned her gaze to the old couple. She was interested in the offer they made. Eat free food without having to spend money. But in retrospect, they wanted to give affirmation to the old couple who had dared to reprimand her earlier. "You should know that this problem can't be covered up with free food alone." 

Jessica grinned at the couple. Even now, Jessica was planning something else for the old couple. 

Meanwhile, Amy was feeling very scared right now. She couldn't even persuade them with a free meal. And she was scared that the artist would leave a bad online review about her cafe. 

Amy didn't want that to happen. She still had her hands together. Her body trembled as the fear became more and more apparent to her. "Tell me, what should we do to keep you guys from doing that?" Amy looked at Jessica expectantly. Her eyes showed deep sadness, but Jessica didn't care. 

"Miss, this is our only place to earn money. We hope that you won't do that. Tell us, what should you do for you?" Amy asked that question again in earnest.

The three people looked at each other until they laughed afterwards, satisfied that people feared them. Jessica looked at the old couple and said, "Well, if you don't want me to do that, you should be able to serve us well. But before that, you must apologize and bow at my feet." 

After hearing that sentence Jesicca, Joshua dropped the spoon he had been holding and made a loud noise, making the three people look at him. Joshua gave her a cold-eyed stare and spoke, "Don't ever do that."
