Darius heard someone’s phone vibrate, and he turned to look at the other board members. He smiled when he saw them sitting there silently with their backs straight. “Now that we’ve taken care of everything, you can leave if you want to.”

He grabbed the contract, then strode out of the conference room. Now, he owned 94.5% of FT TV’s shares, meaning his opinion was the only one that mattered here. That wasn’t his style, however.

When he stepped out of the conference room and saw the numerous gazes trained on him, he knew what was up. They’d all heard about what had happened in the room.

This was one of the main reasons he’d insisted on getting the dark-suited board member’s shares—before the meeting, he’d already sensed the eyes and ears on them.

It was a shock. To him, this wasn’t something a normal company would allow, but a TV station had allowed word to get out. And that was why everyone already knew about what happened.
