Diamond

Adam looked at Abigail. "It could be, couldn't it? You don't have any money. Don't tell me if you want to steal, it's embarrassing for the family."

Adam ignored her. He walked to the exit. Abigail continued to sneer. "You shouldn't have married a poor, useless man like him in the first place, Juni."

"You're beautiful, and young, and many men would be attracted to you," Adam was listening to all this. But he didn't care.

"Well, I'll buy that woman diamonds, to make this body respectable in the eyes of her family," Alex muttered. He had to thank Adam for being willing to borrow his body for a dangerous mission.

"Abraham, do you still have the black card I gave you last time?"  He got up from his seat and walked towards the cupboard. His hand trembled as he handed Adam his black card.

"I need it."

"I'm going to buy diamonds for another woman. Of course, the woman is Adam's wife. What a pity for this body, insulted every day. I can't even bear to listen to it."

"Sir!"

"When will you attack Lady Diana? She will seize all your possessions. Mr. Xavier can't keep an eye on that."

Adam let out a long breath.

"Soon, when Diana feels I'm a good man and no danger to her. I'll meet her tomorrow, pretend to apply for a job at the place and I'll attack her from the inside."

"Marco should be in detention, he killed me, almost killed me."

In the past, he remembered very well when Madame Diana did not take the bloodied Alex to the hospital. She looked at Alex's body with a confused expression.

It was Abraham who took Alex to the hospital. But he was too late. Alex didn't respond to anything. So the doctor said Alex was in a coma.

Abraham was very sad. But he knew that Diana had done that so that Alex would die soon so that she could be with Marco.

Diana was planning a wedding with that man. "Sir, I can't stay silent. Miss Diana must be repaid."

"Even Lord Xavier was deceived by her, they used the lord's treasure for fun."

But right now, he could hardly move because his soul was trapped in Adam's body.

"Okay!"

Adam got up from his seat and headed out. "I have a few things to take care of first. I'm going to the diamond shop. Don't tell your wife about this. If I'm Alex, I'm still alive but my soul is in someone else's body."

Abraham could always be trusted. He was a loyal bodyguard.

"Yes, sir!"

Adam browsed the diamond shops in the city. He wanted to find a fancy diamond for Juni so that Adam could gain her honor.

"What is it, sir?"

"Do you intend to buy a diamond?" he asked. Adam tried to find a fancy diamond that suited him.

"If you're looking, we won't let you. Do you have the money to buy diamonds in our shop?"

The man in the black suit looked at Alex from head to toe. He wasn't sure if Adam had the money to buy diamonds at his shop. A shop that was famous for selling luxurious and very expensive diamonds.

"Give me the most expensive diamond here!" Adam ordered.

The man rounded his eyes in disbelief. "Are you kidding me? Your body is so unkempt that your clothes are torn, do you have any money?"

"If you're messing around, you might as well go home."

"We'll call security to evict you, do you want to steal? We don't accept you in our shop!"

Adam let out a long sigh.

Back in the day, Alex had always brought Diana into the shop. He was respected. No servant ever reproached him. They were like dogs who bowed and obeyed when Alex came. All of them respected Alex because all the servants knew that he had a lot of money.

Even Alex could buy a diamond shop. But now, his world seemed to be spinning. He was like a poor man who was humiliated every day. Alex didn't know what was happening at the moment.

"I have money!"

"give me the fanciest diamond. I'm not kidding."

The man laughed.

"You're a waiter, if you don't give me the diamond, I'll call your boss to get you fired!" Adam said. He looked at the man.

"Sir..."

Without waiting, Adam threw a black card in the arrogant waiter's face. "Isn't this proof enough?"

"Give me the most expensive diamond!"

The man made his way to the diamond display to present the most expensive diamond to Adam.

"Sir, I'm sorry. I'm afraid you'll report me to your superiors. This is our most luxurious diamond. It is designed and has a romantic side. It's the perfect gift for a loved one."

Adam looked at the diamond. He had bought something similar for Diana on her birthday. It was cheap enough for Alex.

"Okay!"

"I want it!"

Adam wandered through the other displays. He was interested in looking at the rings and bracelets. "Sir, I'm sorry!"

He walked to Adam's side and begged for immediate forgiveness.

Adam ignored him. He paid for the diamonds and hurried away.

"I don't need that!"

"I don't need your apology, I can report you to your boss and you can be sacked."

"My clothes don't define my wallet, do you understand?"

Adam stared at the waitress. He kept his head down and felt guilty.

"I'm sorry sir, I didn't mean to insult you."

"I don't need that!" Adam insisted. The servant's body shook with fear. A manager then came over to Adam. Before he left the shop, the manager greeted him.

"What happened?"

The shop assistant looked terrified.

"He's our new customer, are you making trouble for him?" The shop assistant looked down. Her body felt weak .

"Please forgive my employee, Mr. Adam, you can come again if you need diamonds."

Adam didn't answer. He hurried away.

The store manager was seen scolding his men. In his previous life, when he entered this diamond place, everyone welcomed him . Now, people were scolding him. This was a curse!
