Fake Diamond

Juni's eyes lit up as she looked at the fancy diamonds Adam was holding. Abigail almost fainted looking at the box. She couldn't believe that Adam had bought diamonds for his wife. It was impossible and until now, it hadn't entered her mind.

"You stole, didn't you?"

"tell me if you stole, I know it!"

She believed that Adam was stealing. There was no way he had the money to buy diamonds. It was impossible.

The whole Yun family rushed over to the diamond. Adam had brought the diamonds to the family gathering.

"Look, is this fake or not?"

Abigail touched the diamond. "Real?"

She didn't believe Adam had the money to buy diamonds.

"Did you steal it?"

"Or is this diamond fake?"

"It's impossible for you to have the money to buy diamonds. I can't believe it. My sister, June. Don't trust your husband. He must be lying to you. He must be stealing. We don't know what he does outside."

June looked down. She was confused.

"Hi, Adam!"

"Herry could have bought these expensive diamonds instead of you."

"There must be someone you've stolen the diamonds from. I'm sure of it, I'm sure of it grandma!" Abigail looked at Grandma Qeuniyang who also looked doubtful. Her doubtful face looked up at Adam.

"You stole?"

"I bought the diamonds at this Palace shop, do I look like a thief?"

"Where did you get the money?" June raised his voice. She looked at Adam. She had to know, where did her husband get the money to buy such an expensive diamond? This was impossible. She couldn't believe that Adam could get the money to buy diamonds so.

Adam took a deep breath and then exhaled.

"It's easy, I have the money."

"Lying!" Abigail handed the diamond back to Adam.

"We don't need fake diamonds, I know you're very poor and it would be a dream if you had the money to get fancy diamonds."

"Big Brother!" 

If it's a fake, I'll divorce Adam."

"All right, sister!"

Adam didn't bother. He let Juni take the diamond to another shop to check its authenticity.

Adam would visit Diana's apartment to apply for a job as a waiter. Adam walked out of the Yun family's mansion.

"Adam, stop walking."

Grandma Qeuni admonished. Adam looked back and stared at the old lady. "Please, divorce my grandson. He has a bright future. If he stays with you. I'm sure he won't be happy. I don't want that to happen."

"Please, let Juni go!"

Abigail smiled. Juni was no longer there. "Grandma, I love her!"

Alex was sure that the man she was with liked his wife. That's why Alex helped him buy diamonds.

"But you can't make her happy."

"Herry can make Juni happy, we can't bear to see her suffer like this. Please!" she pleaded again.

Adam let out a rough breath in the air.

"Grandma."

"If Grandma has spoken, then you must obey, Adam! What's so hard about following what Grandma says? We want to see Juni happy. She's only miserable when she's with you!" Abigail quipped.

Adam let out a long sigh.

"All right!"

Grandma Qeuni smiled. She let Adam leave her house. "Do a good job if you still want to be with my grandson!" she said. Adam nodded his head in understanding.

"Okay, Grandma!"

Adam immediately went to see Diana. His wife was an artiste. Alex was sure that Diana was in his office right now. He would beg her to take a job as a waitress. That way, he could destroy Diana and expose her secret.

Adam got out of the taxi and walked towards the building. Adam tried to meet the guard. "I want to see Miss Diana."

"Who are you?"

Adam scratched his non-itchy head.

"I'm the new bodyguard, he wanted to have a new bodyguard, that's why I wanted to apply for this job."

The man tried to walk in. "Wait here!"

"Strangers can't come in. This rule has been in effect since Mr. Alex was unconscious. So, wait for me here!"

He sent a message to Abraham that he would be meeting with Diana today. Abraham had to meet with Marco. The man was terrified to see Abraham appear in front of him.

All his secrets and rottenness were in Abraham's hands.

Diana leaves the room. This was a pointless job. She never asked to have a new bodyguard.

Diana looked at Adam with a furrowed brow.

"You again!"

"I'm sorry Miss Diana, can I work here?"

"What for?" snapped Diana immediately. There were five bodyguards in black suits standing next to her. Diana didn't like looking at Adam. The man's gaze looked different. Like the look Alex gave him. Very scary.

"I'm busy."

"I have business outside, I have to meet some artists and take care of them too."

"I...,"

"I'm Mr. Alex's best friend, Miss Diana. Don't you feel sorry for me? I want to be of service to Mr. Alex who is lying weak. You are not taking care of him, are you? You are busy with your mistress. I know that!"

Diana clenched her hands.

"You!" she shouted in annoyance.

"I know that Miss Diana, it's not an open secret anymore. I want to take care of Mr. Alex and you will be free. You will be comfortable with your mistress."

Adam smiled as he said that. He was sure Diana would agree. Diana took a slow step towards him. Adam stood tall.

"Can I trust you?"

"Of course, you can trust me. I am an honest man."

"I'm willing to be with Mr. Alex, even if you don't pay me," Adam tried to convince her.

Diana was silent for a moment.

"If you don't, I could expose this to the public. Yesterday, I filmed you kissing Mr. Marco. this is enough to explain your relationship."

Adam showed her the tape. Diana rounded her eyes in disbelief. The recording from the hotel room she rented was so accessible to Adam. How could he? He didn't have access to the hotel but he was able to retrieve the CCTV.

Adam smiled at Diana's surprise. He ordered Abraham to keep an eye on Diana while he was busy with June.

"Okay!"

"But, you have to keep this a secret, or Mr. Xavier will destroy me."
