Chapter 67

Cassie was backing Lord Romeo and was weeping profusely. Romeo could feel the pain in her tears from his sitting position. He moved to her and turned her around to face him.

"I'm sorry." he apologised and began wiping the tears streaming down her cheeks.

"I know you hate me." he acknowledged with a repeated nod.

Lord Romeo had assumed that what he feared the most had happened. He wouldn't be surprised if Cassie decides to break up with him. The Cassie he knows is a soft and fragile being and will never tolerate inhumanity.

"I don't hate you," she said and sat up.

"Are you serious?"

"I am, Romeo. I don't hate you."

"We all are the same," she said.

Romeo was confused. He had no idea what Cassie meant by saying they were alike even though she was a vampire now.
