Cassie tossed from one edge of the bed to the other. She nearly fell off the bed but was prevented by Romeo's body. He was in a deep snooze. She began to shake violently.

She was having a nightmare. Her nightmare consisted of a series of real-life events that she had experienced in the past few months. She was dreaming about the night she was taken, how the cult turned her into a vampire and how torturous the resurrection rite was for her. She also dreamt about the incantations Cara and the witches carried out on her to trace the host in her body.

Cassie was having those visions around 1 am. She was lying in bed next to Lord Romeo. She let out a scream and sprung out of bed.

Lord Romeo was awakened by her scream. "Come here!" he said opening his arms toward her after sitting up.

She embraced him panting heavily. She was sweating profusely and her hands were trembling. Romeo clung to her and was stroking her back tenderly.
