Chapter 30

Aiden chose to go to the hotel, healing himself for a while. The wounds on his body were really horrible with bandages here and there, there was no way for him to go back home as it might make Aunt Lisa surprised and worried.

Aiden opened the hotel room he had booked and laid down on the soft bed. For a moment, his eyelids met as he sighed tiredly.

"That driver?" muttered Aiden with a memory that replayed the previous incident, Aiden remembered that he had just done something he shouldn't have done. Using his dead driver's body to shield himself from bullets and then walking away.

Aiden got up from his position and picked up his cell phone that was in his pants pocket with difficulty and a small hiss escaped his lips. After successfully retrieving his cell phone, Aiden dialed the number of someone who was none other than David. His confidant. Not having to wait long for David's loyalty to him made the phone call picked up by David in no time.
