Chapter 31

After thinking about it and remembering, lately Aiden often gets calls from numbers he doesn't recognize and most of them scam or threaten him. The last threat Aiden had gotten was a death threat and it had actually happened as evidenced by the visible wounds on Aiden's body, but it hadn't succeeded in making his life drift because the Creator still wanted him to be on this earth.

"I'll replace it," Aiden muttered.

Although Aiden had never been affected by the terror he got from the unknown numbers, he was annoyed by the calls that happened at times when Aiden was not supposed to use his cell phone.

"They're really annoying!" annoyed Aiden before carefully lying down on the soft mattress.

Aiden's eyelids closed after a sigh escaped his sense of smell. The room lights were off, leaving only the nightlight and the chiming of the wall clock as Aiden's sleep music.
