Part 49

In the forest not far from the empty house where a man was held, Michel was looking at the forest in front of him while sighing. His gaze could not escape the towering trees, looking for the whereabouts of someone who escaped, it seemed that it would not be as easy as what was thought.

Daniel who saw Michel began to approach, standing right beside the man who was currently disappointed. "Relax, sir, my men will definitely bring back that man."

Michel turned his head, nodding his head despite feeling unsure. "I hope so too."

It had been 15 minutes, but there was no sign of Daniel's men returning, making Michel feel doubtful. "We'd better go look for him, Daniel." Yes, it seemed like the right decision, rather than just waiting here with uncertainty.

Daniel shook his head. "No need, sir, we don't know what's going on in the forest either. What if there are wild animals? It's better if we stay here."
