Part 50

The debate between Daniel's men was not over. They all blamed each other and shifted the blame to others. Michel, who heard and witnessed their debate, sighed. The clock on his wrist showed 1:30 in the afternoon, which meant that Daniel's men were still arguing for almost 20 minutes.

"How could you possibly be evasive? I still remember that you were the first to tell me that the man ran away." The man in the black jacket was still convinced by what he remembered.

"No! I didn't do that." The man wearing the hat was still trying to defend himself.

While they were all still arguing, Michel chose to leave. Daniel, who realized it, immediately stopped his men from blaming each other. "Enough! Aren't you ashamed of blaming each other like this?" Daniel looked at them all in turn, where they all now simultaneously fell silent and bowed their heads.
