Part 7

In a room, two men of different positions were looking tense, even blaming each other.

"Why didn't you ever say this? It could be our positions that are at stake right now."

Manager Rio seemed to be railing against James with that fearful sentence. The man naturally felt very anxious in addition to the lopsided smile that rose perfectly on Michel's face. That lopsided smile was something the man couldn't forget.

"I swear! I didn't know about this he at all. For as long as he's been a friend I've known, he's never told me any of this."

Manager Rio seemed to be throwing anything that was nearby. The man's face looked very anxious, afraid of all the possibilities that Michel could have taken as the man's decision.

Not only that man, James who was in front of the man also felt the same anxiety.

James was also afraid that the job that he had as the only source of income he got would be at stake. If he didn't work in this office, he didn't know where else he could work.

"It's all your fault!"

Manager Rio, who had been silent for a long time, suddenly raised his voice. He immediately blamed James for everything that happened there.

James furrowed his brow, his emotions clearly visible on the man's face.

James hissed, looking incredulously at the man. "Me? You're blaming me now?" asked James as he shook his head.

Manager Rio chuckled, his mind in a frenzy of fear and anxiety all rolled into one.

"All of this happened because of an order from you. He wouldn't have been kicked out of this office if you hadn't asked me to do everything."

James tried to remind the man in front of him of the incident that happened just a short time ago.

"Argh! If only you hadn't shown up it would have been everything! Ah, never mind, I can't think of anything else."

Manager Rio seemed to have given up on everything. The mistake that did originate from him made the man unable to defend himself.

However, considering his position was far above James, he was able to act as he pleased. He would blame James for everything and of course the man would not be able to move an inch.

"You have also received a salary for what you did. So, obviously all of this is your fault. You are far more guilty!" snapped Manager Rio with his face full of fear.

James shook his head slowly, there was nothing he could say anymore because Manager Rio was right.

After all, James had also signed the agreement on the stamp.

"Ekhem!"

All of a sudden, a deafening sound coming from the entrance of the Manager's special room awakened the two humans inside.

Both Manager Rio and James turned their bodies simultaneously. Both of them immediately turned their eyes towards the figure that was now standing upright in the doorway.

"Mr. Daniel?!" said Manager Rio and James in unison.

Both of them immediately aligned their bodies, slightly bowing their bodies as a sign of respect to the man.

Daniel was silent as his eyes watched them both. His gaze, which looked so sharp and piercing, made the two people in front of him feel even more nervous.

With difficulty, both Manager Rio and James seemed to be struggling to swallow their saliva.

Without having to ask any further questions, both of them were not stupid people who did not understand the meaning of Daniel's arrival. Considering that Daniel was Michel's personal assistant, it was obvious what the purpose of his visit to Manager Rio's room was.

"You two. Follow me to go to Young Master's room. Young Master is waiting for you both there."

Deg!

It was like being struck by a fierce thunderbolt.  Manager Rio and James' world was shattered at that moment. How could they not? They could clearly grasp the meaning of the Young Master said by Daniel.

"Come, follow me quickly. The Young Master must be waiting for you two."

Daniel said as he immediately stepped away from the room. The man seemed to be walking with a cool stride, in stark contrast to how the two men behind Daniel's body felt.

Both Manager Rio and James looked at each other. It was as if they could already see clearly what their fate would be after this.

"We're both dead. Surely, Michel will never want to forgive both of us.

Just as we've broken him, I'm pretty sure Michel will do the same. I couldn't have imagined all this would happen in my life."

James also seemed to whisper softly near Manager Rio. His words, which were spoken at a distance of less than two arms lengths, allowed Manager Rio to catch everything clearly.

Manager Rio remained silent, not knowing how to respond.

Daniel continued to walk until finally his steps stopped right in front of the room that said Ceo on the door.

Right when the three men entered Michel's room, Michel immediately turned his eyes away.

A smile that was so wide that it looked perfect on his face.

"You can leave this room, Daniel. I just want to talk to the two of them."

Daniel, who heard the words of his superior's son, immediately nodded his head. Whatever Michel said, it was a must or an order for Daniel.

The man could not violate what Michel had set.

His voice was low but managed to make the two men in front of him stand up at that moment.

There seemed to be a special attraction for the words that had just come out of Michel's mouth.

With faces that had now turned deathly pale, both Manager Rio and James seemed to be pushing each other to determine who would come forward first.

They both looked like children who were afraid of being told to face their teacher.

"Do you two want me to fire you?"

One sentence that was quite solid and clear suddenly succeeded in making them both immediately rush to sit in the place that had been provided by Michel, right in front of him.

The two of them were now seated in comfortable-looking chairs, but not at that time.

Manager Rio and James actually felt that the chair was like a hot chair that brought tension and misery to those who sat on it.

Michel's eyes looked calm, but it was clear that the man was not looking kindly at the two of them.

Manager Rio and James also seemed to glance at each other through the corner of their eyes, before the Manager finally opened his voice first.

"I truly apologize for the incident that happened the other day. I didn't mean to slander or do anything bad. Please, give me a chance to improve my bad attitude in this office. Don't fire me."

Manager Rio seemed to stretch out his hand, cupping his hands together as he seemed to strike a pleading pose towards Michel.

As before, Michel just looked at the pleading man with his expressionless face.

"I'm also sorry about everything, Michel, hmm I mean I'm sorry, Mr. Michel. I have also made a big mistake to you. Please forgive me. I'm really wrong here."

James also did the same as the manager. The two men, who Michel had originally believed to be so happy at Michel's departure from this company, had instantly turned into the most miserable like this.

The looks on both of their faces were very frightened if Michel made the same decision as they did to Michel the other day.

"Both of us are really sorry about everything."

The manager reiterated their sentence, making Michel break his reverie.

"Is there another mastermind behind this incident?" asked Michel, who somehow felt that there was something stuck in his heart.

Silence enveloped the room for a moment before Manager Rio finally nodded his head.

"All of this was ordered by Erick, my best friend, sir. He asked me and James to do it."

Hearing that name, Michel frowned and recognized it immediately.

"Erick? Is the Erick who was with Elera the one they are referring to right now?" Michel muttered, thinking back to the incident that broke his heart.
