An Ambush

Rin was resting in the wagon when suddenly, he heard a loud noise from the outside. He could hear the horses and the knights running as if something was wrong.

He peeked out of the window only to find many people wearing a black masks with a black dress covering their entire bodies. They were using their spells and were trying to destroy the wagon in which Rin was resting.

A fireball almost reached Rin before which, one of the four knights that pledged their loyalty to Rin – Viola – who had placed first in the tournament earlier, reacted and protected him by summoning a barrier in front of him.
