Mrs. Joan told Lucian everything about Dante's birth and the reason she had been giving him the medicine. She even revealed Mr. Tilo's involvement and how Leon's powers came from the experiment. Lucian was stunned by the revelations, but one question lingered in his mind. If the medicine had been blocking Dante's mana and abilities all this time, then what was the source of his recent power?

Even Mrs. Joan had no answer to that.

"You see, if Dante stops taking the medicine and taps into his true potential, I'm afraid even I would lose my title as humanity’s strongest."

Lucian believes that Dante will surpass him. He was already convinced Dante was an S-rank, but just how powerful could he become once his true abilities awakened?

"So, it's time to stop the medicine and let the dragon fly."

"Yes. But promise me you’ll tell him everything when the time is right. He doesn’t need to avenge his parents. Knowing about them is already enough." Mrs. Joan’s voice trembled as she spoke. Sh

Since even he has now gained access to other elements, it’s only a matter of time before I do as well.” He could alre

He could feel it—he was far stronger than before. This was his chance to push himself harder than ever. Every day seemed to bring new revelations, new powers, and new feats.Dante had unlocked the mastery of lightning, metal, currently he is using earth and air to create a forcefield. Using his newly developed forcefield, he could deflect and block almost anything thrown his way. To Lucian, watching his progress was nothing short of awe-inspiring. He never imagined that Dante would rise so quickly."You're using your forcefield to make yourself untouchable during combat," Lucian said, observing Dante as he swiftly defeated an S-rank monster deep within the dungeon. The monster howled in agony, its massive form crashing to the ground with a loud thud."Yes," Dante replied, his voice calm yet thoughtful. "It’s still a far cry from your gravity ability, but I’m getting there." He wiped the sweat from his brow and examined

"You're looking for my great-granddaughter?" Toma asked as he noticed Dante constantly glancing at the door."Great-grand?" Dante was surprised—Lucian had earlier said the young girl was Toma's granddaughter, not great-granddaughter."Yes. You know, she spoke of you when she came back from the Human Tournament. She also said you always had two women with you." Toma chuckled."You're right, Dante is definitely a playboy," Lucian added, and the two old men couldn't help but laugh at the statement."Vida is a friend. I still haven't made my intentions clear with Aria," Dante pouted before gulping down the tea Toma had offered him."But you don't deny that you'd want both ladies for yourself?" Toma asked, wiggling his eyebrows. Dante couldn't help but notice how different Toma was from the dignified elves he'd always heard about."Let me tell you a secret—she's been talking about you non-stop since she returned from the competition." Toma giggled, instantly catching Dante’s interest. He w

Sylvia Glades couldn't believe that the human champion stood before her, holding her in his arms. It had not even been five months since the competition, and ever since then, he had been all she could think about. She remembered watching him secretly during the party."Can you let me go now?" she stuttered, believing her heart would explode if she stayed in this position any longer."I don't know. I actually like the way we are," Dante said as he pulled her closer. Her scent, her skin, her innocence—everything about her drew him in.In truth, this wasn't the first time he had felt the urge to make a woman his. He had felt it with Aria too, but Aria was different. He saw her as a strong, independent woman, someone capable of leading and making her own demands. She was a bit shy, but still strong enough to go after what she wanted. The elf princess before him, however, was different. She had so much innocence, so much tenderness, that Dante felt like he was about to corrupt something pu

Stefan couldn't believe how things had turned out. He, the prideful genius, had been defeated by nothing but a footstep. He growled and tried to stand, but he couldn’t—the gravity was too strong, forcing him down. He managed to glance at the prince and his guards, all lying flat on their stomachs with faces wrinkled in pain. A part of him felt pride for only kneeling on one knee, but that pride quickly vanished when he remembered he was facing a human of the same generation.Of course, there have been instances in history in which a human has defeated an elf champion. Lucian the Untouchable managed to do it. But never had an elf been so thoroughly defeated. Even when Lucian won against the elf of his time, the fight could have gone either way if the elf hadn't underestimated him. Stefan’s pride might not have suffered so much if he hadn’t been so completely overpowered.“You can stop now,” the princess’s beautiful voice reached Dante, and he released the pressure, allowing those under

“There hasn't been a single monster since we entered,” Dante stated.“Yes, but we shouldn’t let our guard down,” Lucian advised. It had been two days since they entered the dungeon, and in all that time, they hadn’t seen a single monster. According to Toma, however, the environment was different from the last time he was here.“And when will this desert end?” Even the patient Sylvia was now tired of the endless sand they had been walking on since their arrival.“Hopefully, we’ll get past it soon,” Toma muttered.“The last time you were here, what was the environment like?” Dante asked him.“Well, the first time I came, the dungeon was like any other. We fought against various ranks of monsters, but when we reached what we believed to be the final chamber, S-rank monsters started pouring out. If not for the teleportation talismans we had, many of us would have died,” Toma scoffed, remembering. “The second time, I thought it would be the same, but the moment we stepped in, we found ours

He stepped forward but paused long enough to cast a shimmering mana shield around Sylvia. Despite possessing the highest mana reserves among them, she wasn’t a fighter. We can now travel in multitude."No one expected him to agree so easily, and that made Dante realize just how shrewd the Demon King truly was."I was hoping to say that after the tournament and then invite everyone to my realm for a banquet." He sighed. "Sadly, a group of bad seeds has ruined my plan. I wonder if it's still possible to earn your trust."The crowd fell silent. It was as though they were waiting for Dante to speak.King Dwargo had been deep in thought ever since Dante showed his strength. • Freya's Reason

"Heaven Fall."Everyone heard Dante loud and clear. Not because he shouted no, he didn’t need to shout, silence blanketed the arena like a spell, amplifying his voice. At that moment, gravity surged. Even Eragon, who had been hovering mid-air, was slammed down.At first, the contestants tried to resist. They surrounded themselves with mana, believing it would be enough. But as the pressure intensified, they realized how foolish they’d been."How is he able to do that? I thought he was a swordsman?" Aria asked, wide-eyed."Turns out he can control the four elements too," Sylvia replied. Her words weren’t meant to echo, but they did—and gasps followed. It was known that someone who mastered the four elements could branch into other abilities. Still, no one had imagined gravity would be one of them."He controls gravity just like you do," Toma observed, watching the contestants struggle against the crushing weight."Perhaps even more," Lucian added. He’d long been envied for being overpo

"You."Dante pointed toward the VIP section, stunning everyone. His finger was aimed directly at King Mikhail, with not a shred of respect in his tone or posture. He looked rugged—his hair had grown longer, and his presence had matured. It was hard for Vida and Aria to believe such a change could happen in just a year. They assumed it had taken that long, but Lucian and Toma knew better. It had only been six months."Who are you?""Dante Salvador, " he responded to Mikhail, and everyone took notice of the name. The humans who were still trying to figure out who Dante is and why he is familiar finally got their answer with his introduction. Though they never knew his last name, they are certain that only one Dante can have such an aura."How have I offended you?" Mikhail asked, visibly annoyed but keeping his tone composed. He needed to maintain the illusion of peace.Dante scoffed at the performance."Did the demons cause you great loss? I assure you, I’ve done nothing but work to sto

But the moment she heard that Vida and Aria were sitting in the same section as her parents, she decided to meet them—after freshening up.King Alarion was taken aback by her arrival. Her eyes looked weary, but she still radiated the beauty she was known for."How come?" he asked as he stepped forward to embrace her."I just got back," Sylvia replied, having instructed the guards not to inform her parents the moment she returned."My sweet, beautiful daughter," Queen Selemena said, joining the embrace. Though her eyes brimmed with tears, she held them back, mindful of the onlookers."I'm alright, Mother. I'm sorry to have worried you." Sylvia could see the toll her absence had taken on her mother."You don’t need to apologize. In fact, your great-grandfather will be pleased to hear you’re safe. Gods know how much he’s been blaming himself for losing you."Sylvia sighed in relief at the mention

  • Dante Salvador

“What have you done?!” Dante’s voice thundered through the sky, drawing the attention of both humans and demons alike. All eyes turned upward to see him hovering midair, radiating fury.“I told you, your worst mistake was attacking our village,” one of Adam’s sisters sneered from within a large cage, already captured along with other villagers. The demons hadn’t come to massacre; they came to kidnap, which was why most of the villagers were still alive, caged like animals. Only a few had been unlucky enough to die in the struggle.“Will this be a problem?” one of the demons asked their leader, nodding toward Dante.“A problem?” the leader scoffed. “When have humans ever been a problem? Even if their so-called S-rankers showed up, we’d still wipe them all out. We were ordered to leave no witnesses.”He wasn’t wrong, demons were stronger than humans. Stronger than other races, in fact. But Dante was no ordinary human.“I’ll just drag him down and kill him,” muttered the demon, still gri

  • Arriving In His Village

Dante and Sylvia stood just outside the dungeon, both breathing a deep sigh of relief. After months of survival and battle, they had finally made it out. The group rushed toward Sylvia and Dante.Though grateful to be alive, Dante’s thoughts were already elsewhere, on Vida and Aria. He needed to see them as soon as possible, to let them know he was safe. He’d been gone for far too long, and with his phone dead and no way to charge it inside the dungeon, he knew they’d be worried sick.“Princess, I need to go home. I have to let everyone know I’m okay. I’ll come find you later,” he said gently.Sylvia’s heart sank at his words. She didn’t want to part from him, not after everything they had just been through. But she understood.“Alright,” she said with a t

  • A Way Home

With the arrival of the demons, there were now five races competing in the tournament. Each had five representatives, making a total of twenty-five participants. Since the tournament was set to begin the next day, everyone chose to retire early. They had hoped to hold a gathering, but the presence of the demons cast a heavy shadow over the idea. Though Mikhail claimed they came in peace, no one could truly predict what a demon might do. Each race decided it was best to caution their youth and ensure they did not underestimate the demon representatives.“You shouldn’t underestimate the demons, or the humans,” King Dwargo warned his delegates. “Though demons are known for their destruction, humans are not as simple as they appear. We often mock them as the weakest, but we know they hold the greatest potential.”He sighed, recalling the tournament where Lucian had defeated all of their representatives. Though dwarves don’t live as long as elves, they still outlive humans. When Lucian was
