"I don't know. I'm also confused now."

"Are you happy when you're with him?" Nicholas stared at Kate's expression for a long time.

"I'm very happy. He's no better than you and even tends to be mischievous but he always manages to make me forget my problems. He brings simple comforts that make me always feel extraordinary. As if that is something I've been looking for the most all this time."

"Oh, kate! I'm so glad you said that." Nicholas hugged Kate. "You are my ally. I want to love you so badly but I can't. Even though I tried so hard over and over again. I'm glad to hear you have a man who is there for you without having to look for reasons to hold on." Nicholas hugged Kate very tightly. "Are you still willing to be my ally after we divorce and you marry that man?"

"I can't marry that guy?"

Nicholas let go of his hug. "What do you mean?"

"He is an enemy of my father and Andreas. My father once killed Fabian. He is one of Fabian's brothers. They are in the same organization."
