The result of the fight

Kate bit her nails considering what attitude to adopt for Leon and Andrew's fight. Women don't have much time to think. He was sure their fight had already begun. If you don't have the courage then Kate must be prepared to receive news that one of them has died.

"Oh no!" Kate hissed frantically at the thought of the worst.

“Kate, did something happen?” Daphne who was with him turned concernedly to him.

Kate shook her head. "No, mom. I'm okay." Kate forced a smile.

"Did Nicholas hurt you?" Daphne knew she shouldn't ask that but Kate's attitude worried her.

"Not about Nicholas."

"You don't seem to be concentrating today." Daphne took Kate's hand. Kate licked her lips. He didn't know what to say. His gaze glanced at his cellphone for the umpteenth time hoping that no one had called him for news. Daphne looked at him with her usual warm gaze.
