"What?" asked Dylan.

The man certainly couldn't hide his surprise when he heard Lindis intended to resign from Monarch. If the woman insisted on leaving, Dylan's eyes would lose their eyes and ears in Monarch even more -only Wilson would remain.

"You can't do that. I still need you," Dylan snapped.

"I know, Mr. Sullivan. But I can't stand to have my pay cut by them," Lindis said.

"If I manage to take over the Monarch, I won't let that happen," Dylan said.

"Then take her from Robert. Do it quickly! The employees there have lost hope," said Lindis.

Despite Lindis' pressure, Dylan still couldn't do it. He had agreed with the other shareholders that Dylan would only take a stake in Monarch when six months had passed.

"I spoke to representatives from Rockefeller and Lawrence. They have agreed that they will sell their shares to me if in six months, Monarch's revenue no longer shows an increase," Dylan said.
