"Zak, finally laid eyes on you. There's something different about you, and that school uniform suits you well. Unlike me, stuck in that rundown school."

Zak pulled her aside with a stoic expression. "What brings you here?"

"School's on break, and I missed you, so I decided to come." The girl looked up at Zak, her eyes shimmering.

Ignoring her hopeful gaze, Zak retrieved his phone and dialed the orphanage superintendent. In a composed tone, he reported, "Miracle has run away."

"I've told her repeatedly not to seek you out, but this child never listens." The orphanage superintendent sighed in resignation. "She always thinks you've become wealthy and wants to follow you. Hurry and convince her to come back."

Zak handed the phone to Miracle.

Miracle declined to answer, kicked nearby stones, and stated, "Back when we were in the orphanage, you weren't this indifferent to me. Just because you have money now doesn't mean you can ignore me, Zak. It's too heartless."
