The Appraisal Summit [II]

"I understand how it works." Irving was blunt. In his eyes, it wasn't wrong to admit certain things. "It's just that I've never done this before."

"Want me to take a look? All the stuffs here are from Colorado" It was the Director who spoke. With a smile on his face, he came up with a designer walking cane.

"Director, can you tell me some rules about stone gambling." Irving smiled shyly. "I'm new here. I'm very new in the company and I'm not very familiar with this aspect. I hope you'll tell me so I can learn from it."

The Director put away the walking cane in his hand and noticed the work badge on Irving's chest. The young man was an employee of Huayun Jewelry. This was a big customer, so he naturally needed an explanation. That act of humbly asking for advice was really hard to hate. He even felt that the young man was really sincere.

"Blimey, why is it that this guy just don't know anything?" Yasmine also shook her head. She was surprised that Irving didn't shy away from his ignorance at all and even said it in front of others. Yasmine believed that she had outstanding abilities, while Irving didn't have a single outstanding skill. Why should he be better than herself? Certainly, he must have gotten the position of assistant manager by sheer luck or something.

Could luck really be on his side every time?

"It all depened on the gems inside the stones. Since the stones were from Colorado, they mostly contain emeralds and jadeite. Stone materials produced from the old rocks had a higher probability of providing gems, especially emerals and Jades, and were also more stable. The new ones were far inferior. As for the jade and emeralds inside them, their qualities also depended on the type of stones." The Director explained in great detail and spelled out some common rules.

This was not a secret, anyone could find out by just asking. Irving squatted on the ground and listened very carefully.

"Mr. Garner, almost all the other branches are here, we must go now." After checking the time on the watch on his wrist, Mr. Wayne said. "Your two assistants can stay here for a while."

"Yeah, that's okay." Garner nodded.

Irving didn't notice the two leaving at all.

The Director had almost finished talking now. So, Irving just picked up a piece of stone weighing about ten kilograms. The outer shell was yellowish white in color. "Let me see if it works or not?"

Irving held the stone and stared at it intensely. A few seconds later, a stream of heat silently melted into his eyes. The stoney shell gradually faded away, and the whole inside of the stone could be seen clearly. There was nothing inside it. It was just a scrap.

At this time, Irving's hands were shaking while holding the stone. Fortunately, others did not notice it. He looked around and it appeared as if only him was in existence in the whole place. He couldn't believe it. It actually worked. He knew it must be that ancestral book that brought him this ability.

"Irving, now that you have learned a lesson or two, why don't you gamble and buy a piece?" Yasmine smiled with an indication that it was just an unintentional statement.

Who would have thought that Irving would actually comply. "I think so too!"

Such confidence stunned Yasmine. She originally thought that since Irving didn't understand anything about emeralds and Jade appraisals, he would be afraid. After all, once anyone fell into the pit of gambling on stones with his eyes closed, that person was destined to lose everything.

"You must think about this clearly! Gambling on stones is even deeper most minor appraisals." Yasmine didn't want to push Irving to a dead end. She quickly spoke again. "Don't act out of emotion, otherwise don't blame me if you lose."

However, Irving was still confident and nodded. "That's natural."

Looking at Irving, who was squatting on the ground and looking at the stone seriously, Yasmine was speechless for a while. Could it be that this guy couldn't stand the stimulation and was angry with himself?

Irving gently touched each stone. He had looked at several pieces, and either there was nothing in them, or even if there was, it was very little.

Finally, Irving got a piece of black stone, which had a slightly frosted feel. For some reason, this stone didn't seem ordinary. When he looked at it closely, he could see that the outer body gradually became blurred, and the inner appearance was also revealed.

Green! It was finally green in the inside. Even if Irving didn't understand what type of green stone it was, he could still tell that this piece of green was very pure. This black stone of twenty or thirty kilograms should be able to produce about ten kilograms of the inner green content.

"Young man, I believe this is your first time gambling on stones, right?" At this time, the Director suddenly spoke.

"Yes." Irving subconsciously responded. Not to mention how excited he was now, he knew this stone would definitely produce something good.
