The Marrage Agreement Is Over

Julion who was laying on the ground, took a deep look at Irving and wondered how this kid could dare to resist now when he was usually submissive to them?

"Irving!" Linard frowned at Irving, his face was unsightly. A few seconds later,  he turned to the woman with a smile. "Haha, distinguished lady, please don't listen to this boy's words. When we were playing around just now, we hit him a little harder, and now he is holding a grudge..."

"A little heavier?" When Irving heard this, he laughed coldly. He took a deep look at the blood on the ground and said lightly. "Do you even know what that means? Look at the floor and tell me if that is a little heavier."

The woman followed Irving's gaze, and she frowned when she saw the scene.

The ground was full of broken fragments and mottled bloodstains. Since the shelves had been knocked over, it was really difficult to find them without looking carefully.

The woman's pupils shrank further. No wonder the smell of blood in the air was so strong. Her delicate body moved slightly in discomfort, and she, who was already exceptionally beautiful, looked even more sultry at this moment.

Julion, who was all curled up on the floor, swallowed hard when he looked at the woman's enchanting figure. His eyes full of lewd looks.

"Young lady, don't be fooled by his one-sided words. These people don't know anything about antiques." Irving left the antique shop haughtily without saying anything further. His firm figure slowly disappearing into the crowd.

"Young lady?" The woman looked in Irving's direction. She didn't move from her position but her brows were slightly furrowed. What on earth? A young guy calling her a young lady? How ironic. As the doting eldest lady of a dignified family, this should be really interesting.

An imperceptible smile appeared at the corner of her mouth.

On the side of the road, Irving walked slowly. He ignored the strange looks and whispers from the people around him. At this time, he was immersed in the memories just now, feeling excited and even more nervous.

Being able to easily tell the authenticity of antiques must be due to the secrets of treasure appraisal, but why did he suddenly learn Pankration? It was a mixed martial arts skills.

He thought deeply, but he couldn't figure out the reason. He thought of his mother laying on the hospital bed, and he felt even more anxious.

At this moment, he was not concerned about the bizarre experiences that had happened to him recently, but how he would be taking good care of his mother. Looking at the whole situation, he knew he would definitely not be getting his salary. Now, he had no money.

Irving shook his head gently, touched his empty stomach, and smiled bitterly. For him not to die of hunger at this point, he decided to try his luck with his fiancé, Hannah.

Arriving at the place, Irving reluctantly knocked on the door. He could only hope his future mother-in-law wasn't at home.

""Who is it?"

Madame Amelia Walker's voice came from the living room, and Irving had a foreboding feeling. This wasn't good at all. Madame Amelia was slowly turning to another nightmare of his. Ever since the death of Mr. Graham Walker, Madame Amelia had been treating him differently. It had not reached the point of hostility, but she had been less kind to him.

"It's me, Irving." Irving replied softly. "Is Hannah at home?"

"Come in. It's good that you're here." Madame Amelia said smiling broadly. "We can now settle this once for all "

Irving entered and was stunned for a moment. He saw Hannah sitting next to a guy in a dark blue suit, holding hands and drinking tea together. The atmosphere was that of a close relationship between the two of them. What on earth was happening? Slowly, he asked. "What's going on here?"

"This is Theodore Alvarez, the son of Mr Richmond Alvarez, the owner of the Alvarez group of companies." Madame Amelia said, introducing the handsome guy. "My future son-in-law."

"What?" Irving glared at Madame Amelia, almost vomiting blood since there was nothing in his stomach. "What are you talking about?"

"I have accepted Mr Alvarez here, as my daughter's fiance." Madame replied firmly. "Is that clear enough for you now?"

"Why?"

"Do I need to tell you the reason?"

Irving looked closely at the guy and his anger dissipated. The guy's suit was definitely Stuart Hughes Diamond Edition. His hair was perfectly styled like that of a model. His ocean blue eyes brought out his chiseled face. On his wrist was a diamond rolex watch that Irving could only dream of. And his shoes, they were like dark mirrors, reflecting the room's light. From the look of things, he was a rich guy. How could he even be angry with this guy? It was like getting angry with money.

Irving sighed and turned to Hannah with a look of sadness. "Hannah?"

"I'm sorry, Irving. I've decided to cancel the marriage arrangement between us."

"But we promised each other."

"It's not my fault, Irving." Hannah said in a low tone. "If you want to blame someone, it's yourself. All these years, you have nothing to show for it. Not even a penny. I'm not getting any younger. Moreover, look at these jewelries, bags, and clothes that Theodore bought for me. Do you understand now? This is the necklace you gave me as our promise, and now I'm giving it back to you. You no longer have any obligation to me. You're free to go."

Hannah threw something over, and Irving looked down and realized that it was the love gold necklace he bought for her after his first five months salary. It also had the initials of the two of them on it.

Irving was silent for a while. He picked up the chain, looked at it, and put it inside his pocket. "I wish you all the best, Hannah."

Afterwards, he turned around and left the house without turning back.
