The Yellow Marigold Vase

Tired and hungry, he dragged his feet, looking around for any pawn shop. He needed food, he needed money. After locating one, he sold the chain for one thousand dollar and left.

His mind wandered off to his newly acquired ability. Now that he had the privilege to distinguish between original and fake products, should he still worried about not making any money?

Irving smiled, turned around immediately, and walked towards the ghost market, the largest and most scattered antique market in the city. He would eat later. It was still early in the day when Irving arrived here. This time, the crowd was naturally noisy.

"Young man, look at this, this is authentic blue and white porcelain. I'll sell it to you at the lowest price. You'll definitely make a profit!"

"Don't listen to his nonsense. This painting of mine is priceless. As long as you are willing to pay for it, you will definitely earn back your money tenfold."

"Come and take a look, original emeralds are on sale at a bargain price!"

The noisy shouts around him made Irving dizzy. He walked slowly on the streets of the antique market, looking at the goods around him intentionally or unintentionally, his eyes getting darker and darker.

Only then did he realize that there were so many fakes products in the antique market.

At first glance, most of them were imitations, and only a handful of them were genuine, but the price was extremely expensive.

Even if Irving sold the family house, he couldn't afford these genuine products.

"The more he looked at them, the more annoying it became!" Irving cursed angrily and couldn't help but cast his eyes to the side: "Wait a minute, this..."

A ray of golden light came into his eyes, and his attention was immediately drawn to it. A very small bowl was laying in the corner of the stall. If one didn't look for it carefully,...One wouldn't be able to find it, but the was a simple energy exuding from his body.

Yellow Marigold Vase? No, it was actually sapphire  blue, made during the early Roman empire, currently worth more than ten thousand dollar.

It was sitting quietly in the corner, covered with dust, and it looked really dirty, but with a little polishing, it would definitely be more beautiful than others.

This treasure appraisal tip wss really good, he could tell the authenticity just by looking at it.

Irving concealed the joy in his eyes, walked to the merchant calmly, and said. "Boss, what's the price of these things?"

"This one is eight thousand, that one is six thousand, and the others are all within one thousand. You can give as much as you think you can." The boss held a cigarette in his mouth and said casually. After the boss finished speaking, he looked up at Irving and smiled. "If you don't have enough money, we can still make a bargain here."

"How much do you sell this one for?" Irving picked up the Yellow Marigold Vase in the corner and asked softly.

"Two thousand."

"Would you sell it for one thousand?"

"That's a deal!" The stall owner agreed very readily and without any hesitation.

However, Irving looked a little depressed. If he had known it, he would have tried it for five hundred dollar.

Irving took the vase, and brought out one thousand dollar and gave it to the dealer. Looking at the merchant's smiling expression, Irving felt extremely sad and angry. He took a deep breath and was about to leave when he suddenly heard a scolding.

"Stop there!"

"Boy, give me that vase right now."

"Why on earth would I do that?" Irving turned around, looked at the bald man, and frowned. "I'm not giving anything to you."

"I said, give me that vase."

"If you want a vase, just buy one yourself." Irving said impatiently, turned around and wanted to leave.

"You spoiled brat, don't you know I am? Open your dog eyes and take a good look." The bald man stopped him from leaving and roared loudly. He was furious that his approach was rejected in front of the public. He couldn't help but feel embarrassed about this development,  and wanted to take his anger out on Irving. The man rolled up his sleeves and threatened Irving, with a particularly ferocious expression on his face. "Give me the thing, otherwise my fists will grace your face."

Passers-by looked at this scene with curiosity, and no one dared to step forward to stop it. They all knew that this bald man had been causing unnecessary havoc all year round, and no one could stop him.

"I'm tired. I don't have time for this right now. Please make way." Irving said coldly.

"Oh, you don't have time for me? Let's see if my fists have time for your face." The bald man raised his fists and rushed forward.

However, the bald man was the one hit by Irving's direct punch. He curled up on the ground and wailed miserably.

Everyone stared at this scene blankly, unable to believe that the bully who had been causing trouble was actually defeated by someone else.

"I told you, this vase belongs to me now. If you want this vase, you have to buy it from me." Irving stood on the spot and said calmly, as if the person who punched the man just now was not him at all.

"Sir, how about you sell me this vase?" At this moment, a crisp female voice came from the side.

Irving looked up and he was slightly startled. Wasn't this the woman who just appeared in Linard's shop?

"How about I pay two thousand?"

Irving shook his head slightly.

"Then five thousand?"

"Young lady, can you please stop the embarrassment." Irving said coldly, put the vase away, and wanted to turn around and leave.

However, he was pulled back by the woman: "Sir, I saw clearly just now that you only spent a thousand on this vase from that street stall. The price I'm paying now is many times more than that. What's the problem?"

People began to gather, watching this scene.

"Look at his clothes, he must be reselling to support his family. How can you lecture such a person?"

"This girl's appearance was symbolic. I mean, just look at her. If I can give her something like that for free, I would do it."

Everyone looked at this scene and talked a lot.

At this time, a shirtless strong man walked over, his eyes full of ferocity. "What I hate the most is arrogant people like you. Believe it or not, I can teach you a lesson!"
