26 An unknown enemy.
Aidan stared at his phone for a few minutes as he felt anger flush through him.

“Who are these mannerless men who are sending these messages to me?” he asked himself as he stood by the door entrance.“ Don't they know that dating a lady is like a competition? Anyone who is smart takes her home,” he added as though he was talking to someone in particular.

He decided to leave for his room since his mom and younger sister weren't in the living room. Moreover, he was exhausted too and he needed rest. The best thing to do now was to take a shower and lay down on the bed.

On his way to his room, Sharon's call came in, but he ignored it. Unfortunately, Sharon kept calling as though she was at the point of death.

He became frustrated by her calls and decided to pick up, and continued his walk to his room.

“Hey," he said with a low tone.

“Hey, good evening, Aidan.” She greeted with a sad face and Aidan could tell that from her voice.
