27 His family is in danger

As early as 5:00 am, a heavy knock came on Aidan's door, making him jump off his sleep.

Despite feeling sleepy, his eyes were wide open as he gazed at the door with trembling. No one has ever knocked on his door this way.

“Who is there?” Aidan asked as he tightened his hand into a fist and furrowed as his brows thickened up.
