3 YOUNG MASTER

Trekking down the expressway, Aidan wasn't aware that Felix called and reported him to Kate.

A call suddenly interrupted Aidan from thinking about his miserable life. He stood by the roadside and brought out his phone and picked up the call.

The caller happened to be a man, who was one of Aidan's company managers. Aidan addressed the man as “president D”, but his name was Donald.

The man also respected Aidan, and he addresses him as “young master”.

“Young master,” Mr. Donald called out.“Good day.” he greeted.

“Good day, president D. How have you been doing?” Aidan's voice echoed on the phone.

“I'm fine, young master,” he responded, and Aidan nodded as though Mr. Donald was seeing his reaction.

“How may I help you?” Aidan finally asked.

Mr. Donald explained,“ Young master, I wanted to ask if the contract should be sent to the KW company.”

On hearing the company's name, Aidan went silent for a few minutes as he hesitated if he should send this contract to this company or not.

The KW company was the company Aidan assisted Kate to develop without her knowledge. It was because of him that Kate was where she was today.

It hasn't been an hour since he got kicked out of her house and now, his manager is calling to inform him about sending a contract to her company.

Will he allow this despite the humiliation he had received from the family members? It would be hard.

After thinking for a few minutes, he replied to Mr. Donald,“ Yes, but this is their last contract, please inform them.”

Mr. Donald was silent for a few seconds before he confirmed it.

“Done, young master,” he announced, and Aidan nodded and hung up the call.

At this time, a luxury car stopped at Aidan, and a beautiful girl got out of the car. She majestically walked up to Aidan.

Aidan didn't move an inch as he stared at the girl approaching him. Who is she? Her face doesn't look familiar.

“Excuse me, sir,” the girl waved.

“Yes?” Aidan responded with a frown face.

“Sorry, if I may ask, are you Mr. Aidan Frederick?” she inquired with a low voice, hoping that she wasn't mistaken this young man for Aidan.

Aidan was confused as he couldn't tell who this girl was. An old friend? An ex-schoolmate? A business partner? Which one?

“Who are you? And how may I help you?” he finally asked, as he was still unsure if he had ever seen this face somewhere. He was unable to recall knowing her.

To his greatest amazement, the girl rushed and hugged him tightly. Aidan was stunned by her action as he stiffened with his mouth wide open.

Who on earth is this girl who didn't introduce herself before asking for a handshake, rather than hugging him?

Aidan didn't hug her back as he was lost in thoughts.

After the girl was satisfied with the hug, she finally freed him and raised her gaze to him. She sighed in relief as she tried to calm herself down.

“Can you please stop wandering around and tell me who you are?” he asked her.

“Well, in order not to delay your time, I will speak out,” she responded with a smile curving her lips.

“Good,” Aidan muttered.

“I'm by name Sharon.” she started.“ Ten years ago when you were a teen, you saved me from the hands of gangsters who attacked me on my way home after closing from school,” she explained.

“Me? Save you from gangsters?” he asked hesitantly.“ I can't remember saving someone from thugs, though,” he retorted.

“Well, I'm not surprised that you have forgotten. But this happened when you were still a teenager. After saving me from their hands, you gave my family a hundred thousand dollars.” she told him and he lowered his gaze to the ground.

He seems to have been thinking about Sharon's saga.

“Huh? I once did such a thing. Then why am I not remembering?” he mumbled.

“Sir,” she called out reverently.“ with this money, my family is now among the richest families in the city.” she joyfully explained to him.

Aidan chuckled and wore a wide smile and then laughed before hugging her.“ I remember.” he whispered to her ear.

“Ohh really?” She was happy to hear that.

“ Yeah.” he nodded and let go of her.

Aidan was also happy that they are now rich, not like when he knew them before. Their life was a pity when Aidan went to her house after rescuing her from the bad gang.

“And for this reason, I must repay you back,” Sharon said happily, and Aidan chuckled and licked his lower lip.

“You know what, you are going with me to a business party that is going to start in the next few hours.”

“What?” Aidan was shocked to hear that. Despite how dirty he looked, she wanted to walk with him like this without minding his dress.

“I must apologize, but I can't go,” he announced, and Sharon's face changed.

“No, don't say that, please. Unless you want me to get mad at you.” she protested.

“Don't you see how I look?”

“You aren't that bad, and besides we won't take much time at the party, and we would leave, please.” she pleaded, but Aidan wanted to prove stubbornness.

“Since my words won't help, I think this will work,” she said and grabbed Aidan's hand and dragged him to the car.

Aidan could do nothing but agreed to go since she insisted.

After making sure that Aidan had entered the car, she slowly closed the car door and childishly smiled at him before walking to the driver's seat.

Sharon sat down in the car and ignited the car key and started the engine. Within minutes, they have covered a wide pace from where they met earlier.

On their way to the party, Sharon told Aidan about her family life. How they used the money he gave them and invested in the business.

Now they control many important businesses in the city, and the party was for those potential business partners.

Listening to Sharon, it seems like his wife's company was trying to be one of their business partners. Will his wife be at the party today?

That's what Aidan couldn't tell. But he has to get there first before he can tell whether she's around or not.

However, there was no doubt that Kate would be there. She won't afford to lose this opportunity of partnering with Sharon, who was already a successful business lady with big companies.

Such an opportunity can't be joked with. So, it's best to say that his wife will definitely be there at the party.
