43 The Wedding Ceremony

Aidan brought out his gold-plated phone from his pocket and checked the caller's ID. As his instinct told him, that was what he saw.

The mysterious lady…

At least, she used the phone number she called him the previous night.

“Is the call not important? Why are you ignoring it?” Sharon asked, confused why Aidan kept staring at the phone without picking it up.

Aidan smiled awkwardly without responding to the call until it stopped ringing. He then put it on vibrating mode to avoid noise.

He continued to eat his food and the lady's call came in again. Immediately Aidan noticed it, gritted his teeth, and frowned but none of the people sitting at the dining table with him saw it.
