The air in the car was thick with tension as Ted and Leah drove home after the disastrous dinner. The once lively atmosphere had turned into an uncomfortable silence, punctuated only by the occasional sighs and frustrated glances exchanged between them.

"Ted, seriously, what's going on? You've been acting strange all night," Leah finally broke the silence, her tone a mix of frustration and concern.

Ted shifted uncomfortably in his seat, realising that he couldn't dodge Leah's questions any longer. "It's just some financial issues, Leah. Nothing you need to worry about."

Leah shot him a disapproving look. "Financial issues? Ted, we're supposed to be a team. If there's a problem, we face it together."

Ted sighed, feeling the weight of the situation. "Leah, I just need some time to sort things out. It's not as simple as it sounds."

Leah frowned, not satisfied with Ted's vague responses. "You can't keep shutting me out, Ted. We're in this together, remember?"
