Leah sat at her desk, frustration evident on her face as she scrolled through her emails. Ted approached her, concern etched in his features as he observed her demeanor.

"Hey, Leah, what's going on?" Ted asked, his voice filled with genuine concern.

Leah sighed heavily, glancing up at Ted with a mixture of annoyance and resignation. "It's Derek," she replied, her voice tinged with frustration. "He rejected my proposal. Said it was trash."

Ted frowned, sympathy evident in his expression. "I'm sorry to hear that," he said softly. "But hey, maybe I can talk to Derek for you. See if I can convince him to change his mind."

Leah hesitated, uncertainty flickering in her eyes. She knew that Ted had connections, and his offer was tempting. But she couldn't shake the feeling of unease that lingered in the back of her mind.

"I appreciate the offer, Ted, I really do," Leah replied, her voice hesitant. "But I'm not sure if that's such a good idea."
