Jamie turned to leave and Flora started to follow him, She wanted to have a word with Jamie and she wanted to ask why he shortened the time like that

“ Three months ?” Flora asked from behind and Jamie turned to look at her, She was standing there in her beautiful gown, he could see her curves right through the gown, she was beautiful. He walked to where she was standing and he said.

“ What? You brought the idea, didn’t you? Don’t you believe I can make it happen in three months ?” Flora smiled, She loved his confidence.

“ I only said that after I found out who your father was …” Flora stated, Jamie stared at her in shock he immediately grabbed her hands and dragged her to a corner.

“ How did you know about my father ?” Jamie asked.

“ My question right now is why you let her treat you like that when you made her who she is right now “ Flora asked again and Jaime yelled at Ber.

“ Answer my question! You do not get to ask me the questions” Jamie yelled at her, He couldn’t wrap his head around how she found out the secret he had been hiding.

“ They are watching “ Flora pointed at Leah and Ted who seemed to be staring at them, Jamie could see the jealousy in Leah’s eyes, He held Flora even closer.

“ Come with me … You have a lot of talking to do “ Jamie grabbed her hands and Flora followed him.

Leah and Ted stared at each other in disbelief, Leah had no idea how they knew each other or how they became so close.

“ Did your cousin know my ex-husband beforehand?” Leah frowned.

“ That’s impossible! Flora is just coming back from Italy, She spent all her life there … I don’t think she has any friends or acquaintances none that I know of “ Ted replied.

“ What is their relationship?” Leah clenched his fist.

“ That shouldn’t bother you, You should be excited that he fell into your trap … I mean three months? What does he think he can do with that time “ Ted smiled rolling Leah’s hair in a bun.

“ That’s true ..’ Poor Jamie he would have left quietly, Does he think he can beat you “ Leah burst into laughter.

Flora and Jamie arrived in a cafe, Jamie wanted her to start talking immediately but Flora ordered coffee, She started to sip it and stared at Jamie”

“ Quit the suspense! What do you know flora ?” Jamie asked and she dropped her coffee cup.

“ Jamie … I’m not only a tech genius, My grandfather is a business mogul one with so many connections, You did a favor for that man and you think he wouldn’t try and find out who you are “ Flora said.

“ You aren’t answering my questions “ Jamie frowned.

“ Anyways after you left our house, You dropped this …” Flora brought a wallet in her bag and handed it over to Jamie, Jamie snatched it from her, He had been looking for this Wallet for a long time.

“ Your real name is Salvador Maroon, Why give it all up to be with someone as ungrateful as Leah “ Flora scoffed.

“ What do you know?” He scoffed.

“ I know that your real name is Salvador Maroon, You’re the first son of Maroon Jackson, A business guru in charge of electronics and constructions, A multi-billionaire… You took the identity Jamie when you went to the Army 11 years ago, You didn’t complete your service after you met Leah and immediately you made up your mind that she was going to be your wife even though she wasn’t even interested in you … You told your parent you wanted to get married and they maintained you were too young and you won’t marry a nobody like Leah … Right there you walked out and left your inheritance and chased Leah … You didn’t let her know who you are and when she finally decided to go out with you, You introduced yourself as Jamie …” Flora smirked, She could see the shock in Jamie’s eyes, Jamie looked at flora with a lot in his head.

“ That logo in your wallet … It’s the Eagle in the Maroon family legacy, Every bloodline has it, and Ohh … Your father is an old friend of my father, I knew about a Salvador that left his inheritance to chase a lady… When my father first introduced you, You seemed so familiar but I couldn’t point out where I had seen you before, and when I saw the wallet, I remembered we both met each other once at my family’s function 12 years ago, We were both teenagers then “ Flora explained, Jamie looked at her and her face immediately came back to her.

“ Miler Hotels … That was your father’s project my father was working on “ He immediately remembered that function, it was her father’s hotel opening and his father was in charge of the construction.

“ How did you even know that ?” Jamie was shocked that she knew much, it was true that he pulled some strings, When he saw that there was no way that Leah could get back the shares, He called on his uncle for help because he couldn’t talk to his parents or even his younger brother for help, His uncle then reached out to Leah that Maroon company would partner with her small company and that made the top share holder’s, Bid her shares back to her in a even lower rate and even stepped down for her because The Maroon family was feared and held in high esteem, Jamie had planned that after Leah had made it big, He would introduce her to his family that she was no longer a nobody and that she should be accepted as a daughter in law. He declined all his parent's calls and messages all these years for her but she threw him under the bus.

“ Your family is the main topic when two or three rich families gather and I did my little research when Ted brought Leah to the home and introduced her to me, She was the one that I saw with the Maroon family on the news and I knew something was fishy and that you pulled those strings in silence because it was too much of a coincidence.

“ I wanted to prove to my family so back that she wasn’t a nobody, Even though it took me ten years of struggle … I was constantly used by her own family but I endured and now this is what I get … I did say three months because I sent a message across to my family that I will be visiting them “ He smirked.
