Flora sat across from her grandfather, feeling a mix of excitement and trepidation as he began to speak. Ted sat beside her, wearing a smug expression that Flora found irritating.

"Flora, Ted," their grandfather began, his voice serious. "I've called you here today because I want to discuss something important."

Flora exchanged a glance with Ted, her curiosity piqued. "What is it, Grandpa?" she asked, leaning forward slightly.

"I want to talk about my will," he replied, his tone somber. "As you know, my wedding anniversary with your late grandmother is coming up, and I've decided that it's time to have my affairs in order."

Flora's eyes widened in surprise. "But Grandpa, you're not...I mean, you're not..."

"Dead yet, I know," he interrupted, a hint of amusement in his eyes. "But it's important to be prepared, especially considering my plans to leave the country and eventually hand over the reins of the company."
