As Leah settled into the passenger seat of the car, the tension between her and Kelvin was palpable. She turned to him, her voice tinged with frustration. "Aren't you going to say anything about how your parents treated me back there?" she asked, her tone accusing.

Kelvin let out a laugh, his expression mocking. "Why should I?" he retorted, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "It's not like any of it matters. Remember, Leah, this relationship is all just for show."
