Decent Meal

"I want the damsel in my room ready for me tonight. It's been a while since I had a decent meal" Vincent said, his hands resting on his lap as he gave orders

"Yes sir" the maids said in unison before exiting the room

His lips curled into a wicked smile at the thought of going back into the room, with her pinned under him

The door was harshly opened and one of the maids came into view

"Sir...I can't find her in the room" Vincent eyes flashed the moment those words left her lips

"What do you mean? Check properly. She couldn't have gone anywhere"

"Sir, we checked the room but still couldn't find her" Vincent angrily stood from the chair and he stalked towards the door

He approached his room with fast steps and when he didn't find her. His face twisted in anger and annoyance

"Find her!!" The maids behind him shivered and scurried away, going to look for the slave who ran away "Have our guards stationed at the entrance, don't let her get away" Vincent roared

Meanwhile, Anna walked limping on one leg as she leaned on the wall for support. She hid behind one of the pillars as some group of men hurriedly ran past her

She had a look of shock. Had he realised she had escaped? Was he looking for her?

...

Harmony had a dazed look on her face as she walked down the hallway. She had read the book given to her by Carmen

The book was confusing but she had managed to pick a few points. Upon reading the book, it came to a realisation to her that the people she worked for, were vampires .Cold-blooded creatures who drank and feed on human blood. They subsists by feeding on the vital essence of the living

They have red eyes and are cold to the touch. They were pale skinned and preternaturally beautiful. Immortal beings with fangs and superhuman strength

She recalled the faint drawing she had seen in the book, that of a vampire's fangs pierced into the flesh. The thought actually made her shiver and her hand subconsciously moved to touch her neck

She grew some sudden alertness to this place, the thought of living in the midst of Vampires made her scared and anxious

She was so wrapped up in the fear of the vampires that she didn't notice when she bumped into someone

"I-I'm sorry" She said with a quick bow and when she didn't get a reply, she slowly raised her head and stared at the person she had bumped into

The man stared down at her with his red eyes, his fiery red hair was disheveled, his face was a little pale and so were his lips and he bad breathtaking features

"I-I'm so sorry, Milord " she apologised again before hurriedly walking away

The red haired man turned his head and glanced at the retreating figure. A smirk graced his handsome features before he walked forward
