Darian eyes were fierce as he stared at the red haired man who stood before him. His hands were tucked in his pocket and his red eyes scanned the room

"What's with that look?" the red haired asked, walking towards Darian's bed and with a sigh, he sat down "Thought all your maids had gotten acquainted to seeing me around here. Came across a certain someone in the hallway"

"What did you find?" Darian asked, not responding to what he had said

"Nothing " he answered "I travelled to the North, found nothing. They seem to be on a low for now"

Darian eyes moved away from the man on the bed before moving over to the door. The door to the room opened and Lennox walked in

"Milord, the carriage is ready" he informed with a bow before glancing at the man on the bed

"The loyal servant " the red haired man said with a chuckle, slowing getting up

"Sir Vladimir" Lennox said with a serious look on his face and then he excused himself. Darian stood up from the chair and put on his black coat and he passed him a look

"Where are you going?"

"To get shoes"

"Looks like that's my cue to leave" Vladimir said, walking towards the door "I heard Lucy has regained consciousness...aren't you going to see her?"

"When I'm less busy"

With a nod, he walked out the door

At the garden, Harmony hands were dirty and muddy as she uprooted and separated the weeds from the blooming flowers

"Harmony..." Harmony's attention was pulled to the maid who had called her "The Lord asks for your presence in the living room"

Harmony didn't know why but her heartbeat became irregular hearing what the maid had said

She stared down at her hand and proceeded to wash it in the bucket but the maid's words interrupted her

"When the Lord asks for your presence, you appear as you are and not delay him"

Harmony stared at the maid mingledly before going along with her

Harmony walked down the stairs with slow movements as she watched him at the entrance

He had a black coat on and his black hair looked tousled

His eyes moved to stare at her and Harmony stopped a gasp from escaping her lips as those exotic red eyes stared at her

"Milord..." Harmony said with a bow before slowly lifting her head but not to stare at him
