CHAPTER 1. THE BEGINNING

MONSTER KING SYSTEM

1000 years ago, the human race was attacked by supernatural beings with monstrous qualities; who came to the earth, and brought havoc to mankind.

Even though rumours spreaded across the world that it was Lord vagner, the supreme God, who sent them to punish humans for their evil deeds, no one really knew where they came from.

Men from different tribes, tried protecting their territories by fighting against this alien beings, but after a futile attempt, One of the alien invaders which was clearly the biggest and the strongest amongst the rest, ordered the head of the king of earth realm for dinner, and then sat on his throne as the new ruler of Earth realm.

He was known as the ancient dragon. His superiority over the earth was so intensed that a golden image of him was carved and everyone was forced to bow down to it. His success in the war against humans, paved way for his kind (aliens) into earth, and introducing their own civilization; which was unbearable for humans to adhere to but somehow, men learnt to become submissive. And any man who dares challenge these aliens were killed .

Things got worst when these alien-beings had intimacy with beautiful ladies on earth realm; giving birth to monsters who went wild and began ravaging the earth.

They forcefully had canal knowledge of women in front of their husbands and the man dares not interferes or he losses his life and that of his family too. When the trouble got much, the cries of humans was heard and a strange power from the heavens fell on one man, which would later be called Lord Morgan.

It was so strong that it gave him immortality and control over all monsters. He was able to tame the monsters ravaging the earth and added them to his army— except for the ancient dragon(the king) which he defeated in a battle but couldn't tame.

Due to this, he dethroned and locked him away in an ancient cage with spells that trapped him from escaping.

Lord morgan joint his magic power with 7 of his wizards to form the magic ball which was used to trap the soul of the monster till it was time for it to be tamed. But kept it's identity as a dragon hidden from the following generation, and instead, preferred to call it the monster king.

100 years later during, one of his wise men gave a prophesy of another apocalypse which would happen in a thousand years to come. According to the prophesy, The aliens are gonna get wild again and destroy earth realm but there would be another Messiah with amazing abilities.

To safe mankind, Lord Morgan established a magic School where children will be trained to fight for the impending danger ahead, and also, to make it easier to spot any child of amazing abilities, as he might be the messiah the heavens has sent.

CURRENT DAY

" Dad please, I don't wanna go to school anymore. The whole class has now starts to bully me." 17 years old lugard cries out as his dad halted the scooter bike in front of the school.

" Why son ? You are of age and you know how important it is to attend the magic School. That's Lord Morgan's will"

" But what about me getting bullied?" Lugard asked

" by who son, tell me who your bully is ?" his father asked as he turns off the bike to listen.

" Dad, don't pretend like you don't know who my bully is. It's Lord Morgan's son, Fabien." lugard said and his dad went quiet. Of course, there was nothing his dad could do. Both his mom and dad works as slaves in the palace and there's no way they could do anything to Fabien who was gonna be the next king of the earth realm, after his father.

" You see, son..... you gotta take care of yourself okay, just make sure you avoid him by any means possible," his dad said as he started his bike and rode away, leaving him in front of the school gate"

" Yeah right, so much for a dad, huh ? " Lugard angrily kicks a stone on his way to the class.

" And so that was how the monster king was trapped. All praises to fabien and his sister here who's dad was brave enough to have made it possible " Mrs monohen said, pointing to a boy and a girl sitting at the front row of the class while they were been cheered up by the students. Suddenly, the class was interrupted by the door swinging open and the person who walked in was Lugard. He stood still, feeling shy as they all fixed their gaze at him.

" Oh no, the punk just arrived late again. What's it this time ? Guess your poor dad couldn't get you to school on time, right ? " Fabien mocked and the whole class bursted into laugher— except for three boys sitting at the back row of the class. (Lugards only friends).

" Why are you late to school again, lugard ?" His teacher asked with her hands crossed against her chest

" Miss. monohen, am sorry, I-I couldn't wake up on time " he stuttered as he replied her while the whole class bursted into laughter again. He was a newbie who was looked down upon simply because of his skin disease and his inability to learn quickly.

" Go to your sit and try to make something useful with your life," miss monohen snorted as she faces the board to continue teaching. As he walks to his seat, he could hear some whisperings in the class and definitely knew that it was all about him. Everyone was talking about the tape going viral about him. The tape in which he was humiliated.

As he walks back to his seat, he glanced at Stacy and their eyes met before he quickly took them off her.

Stacy was fabiens twin sister and he had a crush on her but he dear not confesses his feelings after what she had done to him at his first day in school. she had made one of her female friends beat him up while she records: and now, the video of him begging for mercy was now everywhere. Besides, she's from a royal family, A princess, while his parents were just slaves to them. There was no way she could accept a level 1 student like him

" What's up, lugard ?" he was greeted as he sat next to his friends, Desmond, Philip and cater, in the back row. They were the only friends he had. They were the only ones who were mocked by the whole school alongside him, which puts them in the same league.

" Am good bro, I....." Just as he was about to respond, something heavy landed on his head

" Ahhh! " Lugard groans in pains as Philip picks what landed on his head, and saw it was a tiny stone. Lugard immediately turns and saw fabien and his friends laughing at him. They have started to bully him again.

quickly, he vengefully took the stone from Philip and throw back at them and it hits fabein on the face.

" Omg, what have you done, have you forgotten who that is ? " desmond got startled as fabein and his friends stared at them angrily. They could see the unpleasant look on their faces.

" You just hit the prince of Earth realm bro, what have you done. We are so dead" Philip interjected but lugard felt less concerned.

He was definitely tired of the bullying and doesn't care what's to happens next. Fabien and his friends were already waiting for Mrs monohen to leave the class so they could retaliate and Just as she was done with her teaching, the bell rang for break and lugard sighs in relief and quickly ran out of the class to the canteen to avoid a scene.

When they got to the canteen, they quickly grabbed a seat away from the popular kids and settled down. The school was a division as they all had cliques. Those who are master's in sword skills and magical practices are seated separately from people like lugard and his friends who were still struggling to fight with a sword talk more of practicing magic.

" So what's up with the game between Chelsea and man u yesterday, you saw what Ronaldo did to Mohammed Salah ?" Philip said as he picks up his spoon to start devouring his food

" Yep I saw that, his stunts was crazy. There ain't no one like him" Desmond replied

" Nope he isn't that good to me you know, I just feel like he's overrated, Right lugard ?" cater said and they all turn to lugard who's attention wasn't with them. They traced his gaze to see what he's staring at and their heart grip when they saw it was princess Stacy.

" Hey bro, snap out of it " they tapped him immediately and got his attention

" Bro you are still crushing on this girl, After all she did to you ? " Cater asked and lugard sighs in frustration

" Yeah bro, I just can't help it. It just so bad that I can't get her to like me because I stink with a terrible skin. I mean, who would date a poor and disgusting boy like me" lugard said bitterly as he grabbed his drink and gulped it down sadly

" No bro that's not true, Okay. I don't think she deserves you " Desmond encouraged. As they were about to go back to their discussion, they peceived a strange smell they knew too well and smelt trouble in the air

" Well...well..well...." So the boy that stinks got the guts to stare and discuss about my sister with his emaciated friends, right ? " They turned around to see fabien and his friends standing with a menacing smile on their faces. Fabien's hands were crossed over his chest while Robert and Dickson, balled their fist and ready to attack

" No no no, we weren't talking about......."

" Shut the hell up, you duck!" Fabien yelled aggressively at desmond who was trying so hard to avoid him. Lugard and his friends at this point were already shaking in fear

" You were staring at my sister or not ? I need the truth !" he asked them with a frown

" Yes I was " Lugard swallowed hard as he awaits fabiens response but suddenly, he smiled at them

" Well that's cool because she actually likes you" fabien said in a calm voice which got them confused

" What ?" Lugard and his friends straightened up to what Fabien said

" Yes she does. As a matter of fact, she had been talking about you since yesterday, I guess she really likes you lugard. She's even been looking for a way to apologise for what she did to you and the best option was for me to come meet you guys"

" Likes me ? but am..... "

" Shhhh," he bent forward and whisper's in lugard's ear." I think she wants to see you" immedietely, his eyes darted to the spot where Stacy was seated but he couldn't find her there anymore

" Where's she ," lugard asked and fabien and his friends bursted into laugher

" Come with me and I will take you to her. She's waiting for you in a Private place" Fabien replied.

Immedietely fabien said this, lugard began contemplating if he should follow them or not.

He really had a crush on Stacy and hoped for an opportunity with her, but he couldn't believe that fabien would allow someone like him to be with his sister that easily. Not with the way he stinks and Stacy wouldn't like him either. What if it was a set up ? What if he just wanted a revenge for what happened in class ?

" Nope, don't worry about it. I won't go" he concluded and tries to pick up a slice of bread in his plate but fabien aggressively hit his hand and grabbed his neck, pinning him to the chair.

" Now listen and listen good. My sister is waiting for you to come see her and as the king's son, I'm giving you a direct order to follow me now," fabien said and released lugard who suddenly was scared to death. His friends were all there but they dare not say a single word or would be used as a scape goat. lugard quietly stood up from his seat and followed them to avoid issues.

"Where exactly are we heading to ?" Lugard asked in confusion. It's been 10 minutes since they left the school premises and padding to an unknown destination. " I can't seem to see her " he said when he got no reply and Fabien gave a menacing smile

" Just keep going, you will" he concluded. Lugard glaced back and could see the school miles away. He had been following them for 10 minutes and all they could tell him was that she wanted to see him in a private place. There was no private place here except for the dangerous Cliff which pupils had been warned to keep off from.

The cliff was dangerous and the city had recorded some death with tourist who came to explore there.

Dangerous thoughts began running through his mind when he suddenly sighted stacy standing sexily with 2 of her friends (Camilla and Matilda). But something was not right. They were each holding a whip, which gave him a really scary impression and tries to run back but fabien and his friends quickly grabbed his arms.

" Leave me alone, what are you guys doing ?! " He struggles with them but they succeeded in forcing him down to where Stacy was.

" Hello handsome.... I heard you want to see me," Stacy said as they held him in front of her

" The only guy who stinks and wants to see a princess," Camila snorted and they all loled

" Let me go, please..." Lugard struggled and fabein yelled at him aggressively. "Shut the hell up, duck. You are here and would have to obey our rules now. There's no one here to save you, not even your poor old man"

" Don't you dare talk about my dad like that," lugard said angrily and a hot slap from Camila landed on his cheek.

***Slaps***

" And don't you dare talk back at my my boyfriend, your next king," Camila said and Fabien shot her a smile. She was really trying hard to please her boyfriend but little did she know that fabein was a player and wouldn't even get married to her. He was just using her to pass time.

" Enough of the talks. Let's teach him a lesson," Stacy said and Robert quickly brought out a camera from his bag and began filming. " This is gonna be exciting," he Said

" What is happening here ? " Lugard asked in utter confusion as he was surrounded and they all had a whip in their hand"

" Now if you want us to spare you, I command you go on your knees and kiss my feet or...." Stacy said and snapped her fingers then immediately, fabein and Dickson dragged him close to the cliff so he could have a closer look. " You would be whipped and thrown down that Cliff. And you know what, no one would even know what happened to you "

Lugard seeing how high the thousand cliff was, became scared and starts to shiver. He never wanted to kiss Stacy feet or he would be filmed and humiliated on the internet again.

" I won't kiss your feet, let me go now !" He screamed as his leg shivers

" You leave me no choice," Stacy said and they all began whipping him so hard while Robert was filming. Lugard cried heavily as the pain was unbearable for him. They wanted him to succumbed to their will which he later did

" Okay, please stop, I will do it, please." Lugard cried out and the stopped

" Kiss my feet now ! " she commanded and took her shoes off, exposing her beautiful feet

" Did you hear her, you dog ?!" Fabien cursed and lugard fell on his knees and reluctantly kissed her Stacy's feet while he was filmed. They all clapped and hailed Stacy as she shove her feet into his mouth and he choked. While they laughed and made fun of him until she was satisfied and then took her feet out of his mouth

" You got that all filmed, right ?" Stacy asked Robert who nodded his head

" Great!" Matilda exclaimed

" Now that we are done, it's time to do away with this annoying kid," Fabien said and lugard exclaimed in surprise. " What?"

" Throw him down the cliff," Stacy commanded and snapped her fingers

" No no, please... don't !!! " lugard cried as the boys grabbed him and threw him down the cliff of about a thousand feet and watch him hit his head on the Rocky ground and died before they walked away.
