The carriage pulled up in front of a beautiful house with really great designs which Alastair could not help but notice. The man, Lord Karl was right. If he wanted to find Cara, he needed his help. And besides, the man was a mage like him. He was the only one who probably understood what it felt like to be a mage in that city and Alastair knew his best chance was with Karl.

Lord Karl quickly walked inside the house and Alastair followed closely. When the door opened, Alastair was greeted by a large hall with beautiful chandeliers. If they could exert that much beauty during the day, what about at night? It would be paradise.
