August was exasperated, despite being at the mercy of Boris and James, he didn't seem to be afraid of them. "I wouldn't threaten me if I were you!"

Boris's face flushed red with rage, he frowned and slapped August two more times. "Don't test me, you filthy waiter. You are at my mercy yet you dare to speak such nonsense. With just a snap of my fingers; these men will hit you to death," Boris warned, his voice trembling with rage.

"Try, if you have the balls," August sneered slyly. He knew Boris and James needed him alive too well to take all the blame for what they planned to do to Tina. No matter how far he pushed Boris, all he got was a slap or two across the face.

"That's enough, Boris," James interjected, gripping Boris’s arm as he prepared to strike August again. "I see what he’s trying to do, but what’s the point of hitting him? He’s already in a worse position. The charge for rape and murder is death by hanging—unless the judge is feeling generous, in which case it might be life
