He was seated on the lounge chair by the balcony with his legs spread wide apart and bottles of wine between them. He was still dressed as he had been dressed for his confrontation with the Hockings except his buttons were undone, his belt was lying a few meters away from him, and now bare feet. When he had arrived back at his hotel he had been grateful to find that the lobby was almost empty and he didn't forget to get his key card but none of that could get his mind off the ultimate shock he had gotten today.
