Chapter 195

Sheila was grumbling things under her breath as she stormed past the open door and down the long hallway where she had just passed through with her parents not quite long ago. Her parents had finally left, not long after her father had whispered in her ear that she should take down Abraham Connor no matter what. At least her father and her were back to having something that joined them back together.

She pushed the door to the dining room open and stormed in, not surprised to still find Abraham there but she was surprised to find him seated in his seat eating peacefully like he did not just humiliate her family.

“Oh, you are back,” Abraham said, his voice booming through the entire room. He took his gaze away from his food and looked up at her with a sly grin, his eyes glittering with mischief.
