“But you should know me by now, Sheila. I would not do anything to anyone except they are totally deserving of it.”

Sheila folded her arms over her chest and huffed in annoyance trying to understand the point he was making, “And what did my parents ever do to you?”

Abraham shrugged, “Well for starters, your father was the definition of a rude man that needed to be reminded of his place, did you see how he walked into my abode with his head up high like he owned the place,” he scoffed, a flash of the earlier anger in his brown eyes.

Of all the things Sheila had been expecting him to say, that was the last thing she had expected him to say. She just could not bring herself to believe herself to believe that the reason Abraham had lost his temper and his cool was just because of how her father had walked in.
