Chapter 63

Dario arrived at Galleria restaurant to have a meal as planned before heading home. He parked his car in the underground parking lot and walked to the entrance of the restaurant.

On his way, he glanced at his watch for a second to check the time; he wanted to get home to Maria on time. But that split-second distraction was enough for him to bump into someone.

Before he could look up and apologize, the person pushed him, making him stagger. “Are you blind?! Why not just say watch where you’re going! Ugh!”

Dario realized it was a woman from the push and the high pitched voice. He knew he was at fault so he forgave the push and apologized, “I’m really sorry about that,” he said.

As their gaze met, they both realized they knew each other. It was Delilah.

What a coincidence.

Delilah had been on her phone, chatting with her friends about her big day tomorrow when she bumped into Dario. Her wedding ceremony was finally happening tomorrow!
