Dario immediately straightened up, pulling away from the kiss and with a disgusted look, he turned his back on her to walk away, leaving Delilah standing there with her hope shattered.

She watched him go, feeling the weight of her past actions crashing down on her. But it lasted only for a while, when she ran to him with her quick steps.

“Dee, please,” she whispered seductively, her tone still tinged with desperation. She reached out and grabbed his arm, trying to pull him to face her. “You can’t just walk away from us like this. Remember what we had?”

Dario turned his head slightly.

She pressed her chest against his arms she was holding and she whispered, “We had so many beautiful moments together. Remember our nights under the sheets? The way you pounded in my insides, Dee? The days you made love to me instead? The way you held me close and promised nothing would ever tear us apart?”
