Chapter twenty-six

Dario took the next available taxi to the mansion. On his way, he called Bruce to mount armed bodyguards around Maria’s private room and inside the room immediately!

Earlier, Dario bumped into some members of the Williams family on his way out of the hospital. As always, they didn’t cease to insult and mock him but he couldn’t have been more bothered.

“What is this thwart doing here?” one of them said, drawing the attention of the others.

“He’s likely just here to check if he has a brain, Sebastian!” another answered, as all of them burst into laughter.

“Fortunately, we don’t need to see the doctor’s test results to confirm that he doesn’t have one,” Sebastian said…

On getting to the mansion, Dario was greeted by his royal guards and maids. Though he ignored them, as his mind was focused on meeting Bruce.

He explained the situation to Bruce and described the so-called young man. Who knows? Bruce might recognize the description and be able to tell who the young man is.
