Dark Arts

Max parked his car outside the training site before walking into the camp. Upon reaching the training ground, he saw six trainees in the first and second tents, their hair turned white and their bodies weak. Max could tell their life force had been drained.

"General! Glad you made it on time," Jed said, running towards Max, breathless, fear evident on his face.

"Where are the three latecomer soldiers?" Max asked immediately.

Jed paused for a moment but quickly remembered that Max wasn’t an ordinary person. "General, they’re in the fourth tent. Each of them is holding another trainee, and everyone they touch ages rapidly, right before our eyes. The three become incredibly strong and fast, and we don’t know what happened. They suddenly lost control and attacked those near them. We ran as soon as we saw what was happening, but some still got caught because their speed is far from normal."

Max nodded. "Don't worry, they'll return to normal," he said, and in the next instant, he disappeare
