Max glanced around before asking, "Is it me?" as he pointed to himself.

The man looked around before speaking, "Is there anyone else here?"

"Oh, what do you need, Jasphere?" Max asked, showing no interest.

"Ah, Mr. Chairman, here are the documents Ms. Cole ordered to be brought and reported. She's not here because—" Jasphere paused, "Wait a minute, I should be the one asking that. What are you doing in the Chairman's office?"

Max nodded, "I'm waiting for Leon; he's still in a meeting," he said before standing up from his chair and approaching Jasphere. "Classmate from way back, it seems you've moved up in the world, huh?" he said with a smile before offering Jasphere a seat.

Jasphere nodded, "How have you been, Max? I was just lucky to be chosen as a manager. How about you? Why are you in the Chairman's office?" he asked.

Max smiled but didn't answer the question, "Have a seat first, we have a lot to talk about. Would you like some tea?"
