Chapter 5. Fight Between Brothers!

“Argh!”

Jian Zhang stabbed the sword multiple times into the body of someone who was already defenseless.

“How dare he challenge Genji!” Jun Zhang, the third son, commented. “He will only find his death!”

They were brothers, but neither of them acted like brothers. People who are called brothers only side with brothers who provide benefits.

“He had been missing for 4 years. Looks like he’s still as stupid as he used to be.” Lei Zhang, the second son, also commented.

Only a level 5 or 6 martial artist could match the eldest brother’s strength. Genji Zhang was one of the 5th level martial arts masters in the Zhang kingdom. Someone like Jian Zhang was nothing. He couldn’t possibly match Genji’s strength.

He immediately lay on the floor, clutching his broken shoulder. While Jian Zhang was staring at his father, he heard everything. His father ignored his mother’s request.

People stared in disbelief at Jian Zhang. What power did Jian Zhang use against Genji Zhang? What level is Jian Zhang currently at?

“Genji, My Son!” Li Wei shouted as she approached her son. “Call the royal healer,” she orders. She looked hatefully at Jian Zhan.

Xue Fen also walked over to her son worriedly. She touched her son to check if he was injured.

“I’m fine, Mother.”

Jian Zhang smiled widely as he wiped his slightly sweaty face. The powerful scent of blood made Jian Zhang slightly dizzy. The hunger that had been gone before suddenly reappeared.

Xue Fen looked at Jian Zhang. There was a strangeness in her son’s irises, which had turned dark red to black. The original color of her son’s eyes.

“You must be punished, Jian Zhang!” Li Wei shouted. She did not accept Jian Zhang’s actions.

Li Wei ran into the emperor’s arms. “Your Majesty, do justice to my son.”
