Nicole was astounded after hearing Damian's threat. She should not take his threat to heart, knowing that Damian is only an intern.

But her heart racing fast, afraid that Damian would do what he had said.

“You may be right. They treat me as an outcast here because I have a lower financial status than them. But remember this. I'll always be superior to you!” Nicole fumed, trying to conceal her nervousness with anger. “So, how dare you threaten me, you freaking intern?”

“Threat? Do you think I'm threatening you right now?” In a snap, Damian's gaze became cold and menacing. “This isn't how I threaten people, Nicole. I'm not even starting yet.”

And before Nicole could even react, Damian already left the operations department.
